Bones & Chews Standard Bully Stick 12" Dog Treats, 10 count

I bought these only because of the Black Friday sale. Regularly, they are $145 for the 35-count 12-inch. I got them for $73. I usually get the Cadet Toro brand, which comes in a 12-count pack and measures 12 inches, for $36, and they are of good thickness. These Bones and Chews ones, for the deal I got them at, are worth it. However, I would not repurchase them unless they were on a significant sale like this. The bully sticks are roughly the same length, but they vary in thickness. You get about 3 or 4 of thick ones, and maybe 2 or 3 are unreasonably thin. The rest are of average thickness. These chews are roasted longer than the ones I get, but that doesn't mean they last longer. They hardly develop a chewy layer (that slimy, soft part) when the dog gnaws on them; instead, they soften and break down. They do not last as long (5 minutes), and mine last about 15 minutes. I have three labs with conditioned teeth/gums and jaws, so they gnaw easily. I border these between a chew and swallow treat, and a gnaw treat, depending on which stick you give, as each one might be different from the same package.

These bully sticks, smell like they've been soaked in urine! Being it is a bull's penis, maybe the manufacturer is not draining the urine first before smoking it, but it is so disgusting!
