Transition Instructions
Weruva always recommends switching your cat or dog's diet slowly and to adjust according to your pet's digestive stability. Typically, a 6 day transition suites most pet's needs. We recommend feeding a mix of 25% Weruva & 75% of the previous food for the first 2 days. For the next 2 days, feed 50% Weruva & 50% of the previous diet. Days 5 & 6, Feed 75% Weruva with 25% of the previous diet. Your pet should be fully adjusted to an exclusive high-quality Weruva diet thereafter.

All Weruva wet food is formulated for adult maintenance and is a complete and balanced meal according to AAFCO standards. The foods, cans and pouches, are soy, corn and wheat free. The focus of all Weruva formulas is always with high quality meat, such as boneless, skinless white breast meat chicken and all of the wet foods are grain-free, with no GMOs, hormones, antibiotics, fillers or byproducts.
I've long use the 14 oz. Weruva for my dog's breakfast, but used a different brand for dinner to get a lower calorie count. She was recently diagnosed with pancreatitis and I had to reduce the fat in her diet, so I switched to the Dogs in the Kitchen for her evening meal (10 oz. cans, fewer calories than the 14 oz. cans). She loves it and it has lower fat than most brands (only the chicken based flavors). I am a big fan of the ingredients Weruva uses.

She loves it!
I got these smaller cans to give Sadie her meds in. I divide them up over : days. She knows them as “breakfast” and “‘zert “ (dessert). She absolutely loves the food.

sounds good, but
I bought two cases of this, thinking they would love it as their toppings, But not even one of these 5 dogs would do more than sniff and walk away. Too bad, i thought I had found a winner.

A longterm fan of this food
Heinz absolutely adores this particular flavor of Dogs in the kitchen. I will say in my most recent shipment the texture has much less strips of chicken/turkey mixed into it. Otherwise, he still gobbles it up!

Disappointed
I figured Weruva plus chicken and turkey would be a winner. Unfortunately my dog wouldn’t touch it. My dog is a very picky eater so it may not be fair to give it a bad review.

excellent dog food
This is a high quality food. Expensive, but I divide it into 3 servings for my small dog. She deserves the best. No health problems at age 9.

Caused terrible gas
My two chihuahuas got the worst smelling aweful gas from this food. I had to open a window! After trying for over a week, still stinky. They are it okay so they liked the taste.

This is a very good topper.........
If you have picky eaters like I do, this is a life saver. I mix with my regular dog food and they lick the bowl clean, little pricey to feed straight but works greats as a topper to get those picky pooches to eat their food. Will be keeping this on the good list.

Good food but expensive
My dogs like this food and contains good ingredients. It's topped over their other food since it is expensive.

Weruva Fowl Ball
Dog had teeth surgery and I had to buy soft food for my chihuahua he liked it at first but got quickly bored and stopped eating it. What is left I have used as a mixer in my Parson Jack Russell's dog food and he loves it. Won't be ordering this particular one but the pouches as mix in's.
