After 6 weeks, the dosage can be reduced if positive results are seen. Since each pet's body is different, results may take longer in some pets. Joint MAX® Granules for Cats can also be used long term on normal cats to help keep their joints healthy. Keep container at room temperature.
Most commercial pet foods include baseline vitamins and nutrients, but some may not have the adequate amount to suit your pet’s exact health needs. Like in humans, vitamins and supplements can help support your pet’s long-term health, regulating everything from digestion to muscle growth. Consult your veterinarian to determine the best vitamins and supplements for your furry friend.
It is recommended to give the suggested dosage based off your pet’s weight. Please refer to the Feeding Instructions tab and consult with your veterinarian for more information.

Tried to give this to my cat, but she will not eat this. Any suggestions?
I have a 19 year old 17 lb boy. He was always pretty spry but had cracking joints. Since starting this powder a year ago it has made an amazing difference. Jumping. Playing. No more cracking joints. This product has much more potency and active ingredients than other powders. Ran out a week ago and this product is not available now. His joints are noisy now and he has been sleeping a lot. Going to have to try some other product now.
I have bought this item for my 18 year cat for a couple years now. It has helped her aging body feel much better. The omega vitamins included, and more, will be why I continue this product. The best part is she loves it. It suits per pallet happily.
I love this product and so do my cats! All three of my house cats are getting older. Unfortunately, it's my picky eater with the worst arthritis. At first, she wouldn't touch the stuff. But, I didn't budge. I kept adding it to their food. Now, she waits for it to be sprinkled over her food to eat! Did not bother any of my cats' digestive tracts while introducing to their diets... no loose stools and no vomiting. The only issue I have with this item is that, on more than one occasion, it's been out of stock for quite long stretches at a time.
One of my cats had a prescription for a similar joint-health product. Expensive but effective. When the pills ran out, I did some research and settles on Join Max as a replacement. Both my aging kitties have a new spring in their step and despite my fear they wouldn't like the flavor, it seems to improve their appetites -- not that cats need a lot of encouragement on that score, but they are licking the bowls clean!
I purchased this item which arrived quickly. Cat seems to not mind taste, which can sometimes be a turn off. Waiting to see if it helps with his arthritis.
Hello. My mom has been adding this powder mixed into my soft food for over 2 years now for my arthritis. Yes it works... I am 17.3 yrs young... my bones used to crack before and I had a hard time moving around, but now they feel a lot better. I do not jump like I used to but at least I can roam around the house without a lot of pain. Worth a try. Signed, Schmoozie
This product wasn't very palatable, as my cat would not touch it. He only required one scoop. The amount in one scoop is so much, that I planned on giving him a 1/4 of that in each meal. So he will get the correct daily amount. If your cat is bigger than 9lbs, then it will require 2 scoops. Honestly, I have no idea how you'd get all of that powder in their meals in one day. For this reason, I would not recommend.
I haven't had this very long (maybe a couple of weeks?) but it's really helping my elderly cat, Jessie.
I thought that being a powder, this product would be easy to hide in my cat's food, but since he's a rather sizeable fellow, the dose is way too large for that and apparently, it's not very palatable on it's own.
