The BEST indoor toy for active pups (but doesn't last long)

When I say that this toy saved us during 2+ weeks of rain, I mean it SAVED US. We have a very active GSD mix who gets two rompin sessions in an open space each day

When I say that this toy saved us during 2+ weeks of rain, I mean it SAVED US. We have a very active GSD mix who gets two rompin sessions in an open space each day (about 2.5 miles total). We been getting non stop rain so our dog has been getting no exercise and has lots of energy being cooped up. We got him this for Christmas and he absolute LOVES it. We dont let him have 24/7 access to it so we keep it on top of his kennel and he will sit next to his kennel staring at it and crying. I gave it 3 stars because the rope does not hold up. The knots keep coming untied, causing the rope to slip out. It's challenging to get the rope back in, especially because the rope has started to fray. Any knot we tie to try and keep it inside the ball lasts only a day. Considering we've had this for less than 3 weeks it's pretty disappointing especially given how much our dog loves it!

too soft and thin.
