garbage don't waste your money
The IV tube arrived with a knot in it. The IV fluid went up instead of flowing down. It is very poor quality. I will never buy this again. I would give it zero stars if I could.
Jorvet set and lactated ringers.
Had no trouble giving my cats subQ fluids with your products. The price is reasonable too.
Do not recommend
The line was cheap and kept flipping the position on the needle (bevel) if the bag moved at all. Made the SQ fluid administration move slower compared to IV lines I used in the past. If possible, I will not buy this line again
Jorvet infusion set
We are pleased with this item. Cats are difficult sometimes, & this set allows for a quick flow of sub-q fluids.
Quick and fast
Yes there is no locking for the needle - never had an issue with it coming off. every 3-4 days i need to give my little guy 300-400ml - in and out under 8min (depending on my skills)
Great set to pair with Terumo needles
This set works so well with the Terumo Hypodermic Thin Wall 18 Gauge Needles, 1 Inch. The set is a bit different than we got at the doctors office but works much better. This combination lets the SubQ fluids flow in a steady stream (have to get the needle inserted in just right). Jasper appreciates that we finally found a good combination so the jabs don't hurt much at all and the process is done quickly. Less stressed kitty = less stressed owner.
This product is great!
Large lumen size is the key if you’re going to hang anything to gravity and get it over quickly. I have been giving my cat subcu fluids for a few months now to manage his CKD. This set was better than the one the vet gave me. 100mLs in about 2-3 mins. No bag squeezing or wrangling. Just hang and cuddle. Set to auto ship!
Gets the Job Over With Quickly
This infusion set gets an unpleasant job over quickly. I have to get hydrated every other day. I wish that meant every other day than today! My parents were worried, because the line didn't seem to have as wide of opening as the Y-set they had used before. It goes just as fast, maybe because the line is shorter. It is less expensive than the Y -set.
