Small dogs tend to be fussy eaters. My chihuahua mix is much worse. Very picky. He loves JFD food. I also make some from scratch using their kits. Mostly, it's easier to get the boxes with certain flavors he likes. I also adopted a 6-year-old poodle from a puppy mill. She also eats JFD and likes the chicken and rice flavor.

North Star LOVES them and they can easily be added to his meals if needed and they also are a big help as far as reducing his sensitive tummy issues he has had his entire life due to the fact that the ingredients are more in alignment with the ingredients in his dry feed: diamond naturals: extreme athlete. The have made a huge helpful difference with his mobility health issues, too.

I was generously offered this product feee of Charge for trying it out on my 5 year old Schnorkie (mini Schnauzer / Yorkie mix). I like being proactive with his hips and joints because his breed is prone to issues as they age. At first I gave it to Maddux as a treat. He is only 12 lbs, so I cut them in half (I do wish they had a small dog version that didn’t require cutting, they are dryer than some products and can break up a bit if you aren’t careful). The first few times he gobbled it up thinking it was a treat, but day 3 or 4, he refused, so I just dropped it on top of his food and he gobbled it up. Sometimes I break it up, sometimes just put on whole, either way, he loves it and gobbles it up. I’ll definitely keep using these, I like that they are natural and have all the things he likes, AND provides proactive joint care to help him stay strong and playful well into his senior years. Great product, I highly recommend.

I revived a container of the JustFoodForDogs Hip & Joint Mobility Soft Chew Supplements for my 9 year old male GSP to try out. I can tell from his walk that he is going to be suffering from hip dysplasia so I’ve been consistent with his glucosamine intake. These were soft cube chews which to me, smelled like maple syrup. My dog had problems eating them. I did had to make sure that I would not show him his milk bone before giving him his supplement because he would rather have the milk bone. These were very easy to distribute. I had to give him 2 a day with him being 75lbs. I did not notice any difference in his behavior but hopefully in the long run the supplements pay off. It was unfortunate that towards the end of the container there were a couple cubes that had broken apart but I just mixed them into his JustFoodForDogs home cooked meal. I have since purchased more for him to continue!

I’ve been giving Henrietta the JustFoodForDogs Hip & Joint Mobility Soft Chews, and so far, so good; she actually likes them, which is half the battle when it comes to supplements! It’s a relief knowing she’s getting high-quality support for her joints, especially with trusted ingredients like glucosamine and chondroitin. The only downside is that the chews are a bit large for a small dog like Henrietta, so I have to break them in half. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it would be great if they offered a smaller size option for little pups. Overall, I’m happy with the product, and most importantly, Henrietta seems to be benefiting from it!

I like that there are clean ingredients. I tried to give these to Hazel by themselves, she did not like it. I tried to place it in her food, she took it out and placed it on the floor. So I decided to just break it up in her food, she didn't realize and then she ate it. I cut it in half and gave it to her. She is 3.5 years old. She does not have any issues, but I guess it does not hurt to be proactive with her. She does climb steps daily and jump up on sofas, etc. So I am hoping these will assist and prevent any future issues for her.

Yummy, stinky, and crumbly

Starting with the important detail: my senior dachshund absolutely loves these!! She doesn't sit up like a prairie dog for many treats, but these check the box. I have to hold my breath when I open the bottle though because they are a little bit smelly, lol. Also, if you're planning to give them to a small dog, halving them is a bit of a challenge. It can be done, and she absolutely does not mind licking up any leftover crumbs, so I just cut them in her dog bowl. Neither of these things are a deal breaker, considering how much she loves them and the great ingredients they use!

First, thank you to JustFood for Dogs for sending me the Hip + Joint Care health supplement soft chews to try for free. The packaging looked promising, but as soon as I opened it, a strong scent overwhelmed me. My two little dogs (morkie and mini schnauzer/dachshund mix) were not too thrilled about the soft chews. I figured I'd give them some time to see if they would eat them. Unfortunately, they did not. The soft chews actually left a lingering scent on their beds where my dogs left them. I was really hoping they would like the soft chews just as much as they enjoyed the fresh food. Unfortunately, these soft chews were just not meant for my dogs.
