Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.
Was super hesitant bc our 1 yr super hyper lab looooooves to chew/bite/eat everything! We’ve gone thru sooo many different brands and types of toys but this one def suprised us! It lasted about 3 months, with everyday play use/was durable to where he would chew but it would barely be damaged. He def loved to play with it and putting pb or treats inside also kept him entertained. Will buy again forsure.
So many toys are advertised as “indestructible” or the “toughest.” This one is the first to live up to its claims. We’ve had this for two weeks now, and Henry works it over every day, yet there’s barely a scratch on it. Henry has torn apart every other toy for strong chewers, but not this one-and not for lack of trying! I imagine that over time the material may weaken, so we’re going to get a couple more for backup. For reference, Henry is 40% pit bull and 30% boxer, so he has mighty, mighty jaws! The other 30% just makes him super handsome.
My dog has had the large toy for about a year now. It’s held up to her aggressive chewing and is actually one of her favorite toys. I will say that the size of the toy does change it’s durability. I ordered a medium toy that turned out to be much smaller than expected. It was also a more flimsy material and did not last longer than a day
I have a 40 lb mix of Lab & Basset Hound and this didn't make it a full hour before it was laying in chunks on the floor. It's very dangerous should they ingest the rubber as it will cause digestion blockage. High hopes for a new toy but so far the Kong is the only one that stands up for a chewer.
At first I ordered only one. Big Mistake! I have two dogs! Jealousy and fights ensued! I quickly ordere the second one and now all is well. Seriously, if you put a small bite of Nudges dog treat inside, it will keep them busy for a long time. This toy is WELL WORTH ITS MONEY!!!!
Favorite toy of dog & owners . So far toy has lasted a month , which is really something. A month of Amy chewing is equal to five years of normal dog chewing . Had one Kong toy that went through three other dogs. I thought it was indestructible. I thought wrong.
Our dog now only wants her kibble out of this toy. It takes her a good 15 minutes to get the food out so it keeps her busy and active. We are buying a second one because we would be in a bad way if we ever lose this one! We bought this months ago and she still plays with it every day. It looks brand new and when it gets dirty we just throw it in the dishwasher!
NOT FOR EXTREME CHEWERS! I have 2 large breed dogs a 4 y.o. rottweiler mixed with hound mostly and a 16 months old mastiff rottweiler mix. Both are extreme chewers. I was finding that squishy rubber-like balls were withstanding the chewing so I tried this since it's extremely hard to find anything they don't destroy within 5 minutes. Nope. It didn't hold up. In just minutes my mastiff rottweiler mix had chewed off a large chunk of the one end. Why is it so hard to find something for them? They rip apart stuffies, tennis balls and rope toys, chew off chunks of rubber. Even chewed off a chunk of a "dog" box toy for "super aggressive chewers" and bit a chunk out of a wubble ball. I don't know what to try.
We have a destroyer. I got the heavyweight but even out of the box it was soft and I expected it to last minutes. It’s been 2 weeks now, it’s a dog favorite and is still intact. Buy it.
Greatest chew toy ever. Completely indestructible. Perfect for aggressive chewers - like our lab. She has wrecked every other toy we have ever bought her. This is still going strong after 6 months
