Very odd that Chewy is selling a medication for dogs that is butterscotch vanilla flavored. We are lucky that after the first few days, our dog got used to this flavor and ate it with her food without issue. However, we will be looking elsewhere for a more 'meaty' flavor. The meds itself has stopped our dog's seizures.
Thank you, Chewy! This was unavailable & unobtainable at any local pharmacy. I did discover 2 issues, for which I have found workarounds. First, my little dog REFUSED to accept this medicine orally from a syringe. REFUSED. His vet suggested some alternative methods of administration. Since the dose he gets is small, I drizzle it on his breakfast kibble & he consumes it all willingly. Second, because of the small dose prescribed (0.6 ml), the dropper that comes in the box is worthless—graduations unhelpful, and the decimal points virtually invisible. I found more precise syringes elsewhere, but I’m not sure what to do when I get nearer the bottom of the bottle. I’ll cross that bridge later.
Lucy dog was recently prescribed K-Bro for seizure control along wit Keppra ER 750mg. Chewy was quick in delivery. I just wish that the bottle came with a dispenser cap.
My sweet baby girl has now been on K-Bro Vet for a couple of week. She takes this much better than her keppra pills. Unfortunately, this medication takes a few months to get into their system, so as of right now I can't answer if it will work. I gave a 5 because giving multiple medications twice daily to a 1 year old Pom is like a wrestling an alligator. This one she actually takes without a fight.
Thank you . I don't need it next month . How can I get out of auto ship and just order when I need it ?
Works great with phenobarbital! My dog rarely has them anymore when she uses both phenobarbital and k-brovet....definitely recommend.
I have been using this medicine for years now and I does what it is supposed to do.
works great! it’s way easier to order from Chewy than any other pharmacy!
This works great at controlling seizures when paired with phenobarbital
Had to wait weeks for this. Chewy says it was in limbo and that my call to them got the ball rolling again.
