Important Information
Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

Ticks can transmit deadly diseases, such as Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain spotted fever. And mosquitoes can potentially carry dangerous diseases, too, including heartworm*.
* K9 Advantix II should not be used in place of a heartworm disease prevention product.

Easier Options Out There
By katie on Feb 20, 2021
I am sure this product works just fine, it was just the application that I was not a fan of. My veterinarian recommended it for my dog when I could not get a dose I needed for an oral prescription flea and tick medicine. (Just wanted to express that it was doctor recommended for my specific pup and my situation). For the cost savings of this medication versus others that require a prescription on the market, it just was not worth it. After reading the instructions, my spouse and I were terrified to let our dog interact with our puppy (receives an oral prescription medication for a similar thing) or *gasp* even look at our cat. We have had no complaints since, though! It was just all application I am sure this product works just fine, it was just the application that I was not a fan of. Repels and kills
By Lauralvt on Feb 16, 2021
I'm a big fan of flea and tick products that repel the critters as well as kills them. With oral products, the bugs have to at least crawl on your pet before they die, which means they could bite and cause an allergic reaction. This topical repels the bugs, so most of the time, the bugs never even get on your pet. I have seen swarms of gnats fly above my pet but never land on her fur. Totally recommend.

Effective product
By RockyMilt on Feb 5, 2021
I regularly hike with my dog in areas that are tick inhabited during summer months. I usually find them before they get attached as I am vigilant about checking for them. One time I did find a dead one attached, not fully engorged and killed by the medicine in K9 Advantix II. Mosquitoes have never been an issue and his blood always has come back clean at annual checkups. I credit this to the Advantix. Application is easy and waterproof after 10 minutes.

Flea Control
By Advantix on Feb 22, 2021
I used the flea medication on all of my dogs approximately two weeks ago, yet they still are suffering and scratching. I use a flea comb and grab no less than 10-15 fleas each day since. Sadly, this product used to work well, but hasn't as of late.

Works great
By CaitE on Jan 25, 2021
We ordered this to replace our prescription of Bayer Advantage 5in1 because it was half the price. This honestly works better than the prescription! My dog is highly allergic to fleas and always chews herself raw even with the expensive medicine. This has worked so much better and it's a great price. Would definitely recommend! For reference she is a pyrenees/lab mix and weighs 65-70lbs.

Advantix II
By dani on Jan 24, 2021
So usually this works- but I used it on my dog for this past month and suddenly there are fleas EVERYWHERE. In a week I noticed they were in the carpet and everything- he only goes on walks twice a day and we live in the city so it’s not like we are in the woods. I’m really disappointed I spent money on this when it did nothing for my baby :(

Super flee & tick product.
By debob on Feb 1, 2021
I have been using this product for several years on our GSD and Pom. Easy to apply, when I tell them it's time for their application they sit patiently while I apply the small tube of oil. We have had no adverse reactions, as have occurred with oral types. Also no fleas, ticks and mosquitoes don't even bother to land on them.

Great Prices...
By Robert on Jan 3, 2021
I couldn't be happier with the process of selecting the medications for my Fur Baby. It's always a pleasure doing business with Chewy's as the process of ordering is so very easy. The speed and accuracy of receiving your order is the best in the business. Their pricing is outstanding and cannot be beat. There Representatives are easy to talk with and very knowledgeable of their products. I wouldn't buy anything else but K9 Advantage to put on my Fur Baby as it's the only one that my Vet Recommends it...

BEST PROTECTION
By Candy on Jan 13, 2021
I’ve tried all the different products for fleas and ticks and this is the only one I would ever write a review for. We live in Florida where we fight those critters year around. Being involved in dog rescue, I’ve seen fleas and ticks literally fall off dead on dogs within an hour when we’ve put K9 Advantage on them. My own dogs get this every month and we never, ever see a flea or tick.

K9 Advantix II
By Irene on Jan 26, 2021
Because we live in a rural area with wildlife, as well as dog owners on both sides of us, we keep our German Shepard current with Advantix. We also have 5 house cats and have never had a flea or tick problem. We strongly suggest all pet owners to consider this product. It works for us.
