Details

  • Made with melatonin, these supplements offer natural support for adrenal glands, reducing excess stress and helping support a healthy hormone balance.
  • Melatonin works in humans and dogs to regulate the sleep-wake cycle which is why an extra dose of melatonin can help with relaxation, sleep, tension, and dog separation anxiety.
  • These supplements feature anti-inflammatory, and powerful antioxidant effects that may increase the strength of your dog’s immune system.
  • Supplementing with melatonin can be highly beneficial as it provides adrenal support, promotes healthy levels of cortisol, and normal thirst and urination.
  • Melatonin is great to relax your dog before fireworks, a party, travel, vet visits, grooming, or leaving the house!

My dog will eat just about anything, and yet, he will not eat these chews/pills. I even try dissolving it in water and give it with a syringe, and after 20 minutes in water, it would not dissolve. I am leaving this review for others to learn from my experience and just go buy regular melatonin at the store and hide in in food, since that's what I will have to to with these pills. And I can assure you, my dog is not picky AT ALL. I do want to say something about the issue of "does it work?" -- Read the reviews carefully and fully: if people are buying it thinking it will be a sedative for stressful events like going to the vet or trimming nails, most likely, they will say it doesn't work. Now, for people who have geriatric dogs who are struggling to settle down at night and need some improvement in the quality of sleep, then yes, after taking it nightly for a few weeks, you will see some improvement. But again, it's not a sedative that will make the dog sleep through anything. Also, it's not a replacement for activity and enrichment. If a dog is bored or anxious because of lack of mental & physical stimulation, this won't make them magically calm down and sleep all day. And same as people: it works better for some dogs than for others. You have to give it 2 weeks before coming to conclusions. I do appreciate that these chews have 3 mg of melatonin, which is not easy to find in most calming chews (many have a fraction of it).

Thanks for letting me add an item to this order. My senior gal has lost a lot of hair lately. She hates shirts and sweaters, so the vet recommended melatonin as it can help with hair re-growth. Best part is, I don’t have to wrap the pill in cheese or peanut butter, she will take it plain. Fingers crossed she gets some new hair, these Iowa winters are brutal!

My dog devours these.

This works to calm my dog without making him dopey. Just enough so I can engage him with his training.

Vet recommend because it's all natural better for him at his age

It helps him settle & sleep. Sometimes I give him a second one if he's having a bad night
