I am used to salt blocks that last several weeks and my horse licks on it, but this one was soft and crumbled and she ate the whole thing in less than 2 weeks, so no, I don't think I will get it again. I don't want my old horse to eat that much in such a short time.
This block flakes away as soon as it gets wet - my two Clydesdales had it eaten after 1 week!! Not ordering again!
I bought this to replace a mineral block that I usually get at TS. This block was gone within a few days! I do not recommend. I’d suggest the GroStrong Mineral pellets instead which I bought at the same time and add to the horses feed each morning.
I bought this for the good mineral ingredients for my horses. We benefit from extra sources of selenium here given the content of our grass. It’s not a salt block. It isn’t hard but crumbles easily. Within a half day 1/4 of it was gone. Not at all what I want with a mineral block. It’s more like a equine candy bar.
I think it’s a great block. I put it in a tub and what falls off they can still eat. My horses ate a lot of it but slowed down once they got the things they needed. It is lasting longer than other licks and blocks I’ve used.
