There are no animal by-products in this product. This brand sources the majority of the ingredients from local suppliers. All of the large-inclusion ingredients are sourced in the US and Canada. There are some smaller-inclusion ingredients that are sourced outside North America because domestic supply is either limited or non-existent. Any ingredients with limited or non-existent domestic supply are purchased from US-based companies that have manufacturing facilities in the European Union, France, and/or Asia countries including China.

Expect bugs.

I've bought this a few times and it always ends up full of bugs, despite keeping it in an air tight vault style pet food bin. I think it arrives full of eggs that

I've bought this a few times and it always ends up full of bugs, despite keeping it in an air tight vault style pet food bin. I think it arrives full of eggs that end up hatching. It seems fine at first, but it gets worse and worse over time. Maybe if you have a lot of chickens and go through this bag fast you can get away with it. But it takes me several months to go through the bag and I can't stomach it near the end. I'm not buying this anymore.

chickens love it

We've tried other organic feeds for our ladies and they weren't impressed. Chewy was nice enough to refund us after letting them know. They seem to really enjoy

Decent until I found mold

My chickens liked this feed as well as any other. My family complained about not liking the taste of the eggs produced from this feed though. I found large chunks

My chickens liked this feed as well as any other. My family complained about not liking the taste of the eggs produced from this feed though. I found large chunks of stuck together moldy food at the bottom of the bag and had to throw away half the bag.
