Not what is pictured
By Diana on Feb 11, 2021
I purchased this product and when it came in I got a solid white bag with no writing on it. Nothing on the bag. It doesnt show the organic seal. I will not be buying the product anymore. This is not what is pictured.

I want the best Eggs I can get!
By DeeBee on Jan 8, 2021
Using organic feed with NO DE in it mean a lot to me and my family. I want our chickens to be healthy inside and out and lay the best possible eggs for us to eat. This feed seems to be the ticket. My girls eat the pellets just fine.

It sounds good but my chickens don't like it
By Melissa on Nov 9, 2020
This is the first layer pellets I have had my pullets on when they reached laying age 2 months ago. They just really don't like it. I will supplement with scratch later in the day and they love that. I had them on grower pellets (different brand) which they really enjoyed. I'm keeping them on the Kalmbach pellets because I want to finish the bag and the organic nutrition sounds good. I will try something different for their next bag of layer pellets.

Chickens won't eat it
By MrsT on Jul 27, 2020
I wanted so much for this feed to work. It seemed reasonably priced for an Organic fed and I was hopeful it would work, even after reading negative reviews. Unfortunately, my hens will not eat it! They scattered it all over their run, looking for something else, leaving behind a huge mess for me to clean up. I tried for over a week, and they simply refused to eat it.

Happy hens
By 3katmom on Dec 7, 2019
Pellets are a goid size, and very little dust! Chickens eat them, and their egg shells are stronger.

Kalmabach Organic
By Meryl on Oct 3, 2018
Kalmabach Organic Pellets, I wanted to feed them healthy organic food and it has what my girls need and they really love it. I mix a little more calcium with crushed up egg shells. Only downside is that it crumbles and you have a lot of powder at the bottom of their feeder.

By gal71r on Jun 10, 2018
for last few years using organic feed..love the"scratch and peck" feed-- it was sold out and I bought this feed Kalmbach--- it is bad, so bad, that my chickens not eat it at all... smells bad and strong and in first bag lot of moldy pellets,,,second bag chewy send to me replacement --but chickens not eating it!!!!bad smell-may be this is why..but it is so bad-for last 10 years it is the most bad feed ever .

If you use organic feed-this is the brand for you!
By meigs55 on May 16, 2018
My flock loved this feed. I had used organic products in the past, but this was definitely more tasty for my gals. I highly recommend giving Kalmbach Organic a try! Healthier eggs, happy hens, quick and easy delivery!
