I use this as a bird cage liner cover. To allow for time between deep cleaning. Works well, absorbent. Soft for my macaw to fluff a bit in her nesting moods. Helps

My little bunny came to me as a surprise. My daughter was given two "female" bunny's by her friends as a surprise, but the big surprise was when 2 bunnies turned into 8 bunnies in 30 days. I brought the daddy home with me to prevent more surprises. His name is Cinnaman, it's been changed from Cinnamon. These are his favorite treats so far.

I like the fact that this is 100% recycled natural paper with no harsh chemicals or by-products. It is very soft for our guinea pig and absorbs and minimizes the smell of urine really good. I was disappointed with the size of the bag I received, but it was pretty compacted and expanded as I opened it. It does seem to last longer than the previous product that we were using. Before we would have to spot clean a couple times a week because of the smell, with this product we didn't have to.

Great bedding on top of pine pellets for rabbits

I use this product in my 2 rabbit’s litter boxes. I’ve been using pine pellets for them for years, but then I realized that might be hard on their little paws.

I use this product in my 2 rabbit’s litter boxes. I’ve been using pine pellets for them for years, but then I realized that might be hard on their little paws.. that’s when I started adding soft bedding on top. It’s perfect to sprinkle on top. I do not notice any odor coming from the litter boxes (obviously you still have to change the litter on a regular basis). I’ve also been fostering a kitten with CH, and she would not use any of the litter boxes I put out for her.. but she did use the rabbit’s litter box! I think she likes how it has this soft bedding on top. Thanks for the great product!

When I first received this product I was disappointed by the size of the bag, as it was much smaller than I expected. Luckily it was vacuum packed so the actual amount of bedding was way more than it first appeared. I’ve use another brand with no complaints for many years so I was already looking for a reason not to like this product, but it gave me no reason to dislike it. I used it for litter box bedding for my bunny and one bag will last me three full litter box changes (it’s a very large litter box). It worked well in absorbing all the pee and I couldn’t smell any urine between litter box changes. My bunny was also happy with it (he lets me know if he isn’t, by peeing outside the litter box). It is also a very soft and comfortable bedding which is important since he spends a ton of time hanging out in his litter box.

Our pigeons love this! It’s expands once out of the bag and gives them a soft, comfortable place to roost for the night. I also use this in foraging bowls for our birds to give them some enrichment while they hunt for treats and they love picking through it. Love that it’s made from 100% recycled paper and the mix of colours looks cute in their habitat. The package states it’s “99.9% dust free” and I’d agree! The birds and humans in our house are all sensitive to allergies and this doesn’t make us sneeze or itch at all! It’s absorbent enough to catch the mess the birds make when bathing and makes cleanup easier.

I really like Kaytee products. This bedding didn’t disappoint. I use mine for 4 full size adult litter trained rabbits. The odor control was good for this bedding type which for my use means about 2-3 days for litter change. I've used wood shavings and pine pellets, which are definitely cheaper, but this product works much better. It's very soft and absorbant, which makes it easy to clean. I can just remove the soiled area and add some fresh bedding, since it absorbs the pee well and doesn't spread to make the whole tray wet. Overall I’m very pleased & would continue using it.
