Don’t buy this product. It DOES NOT keep them contained in. They managed to get out easily which surprised me once I assembled it. Sadly all mine escaped and became cat toys in the middle of the night and to be woke up by a devastated little girl at the horrific sight. Complete thumbs down. Take the time and invest money into good equipment.

Do not buy broke while I was still setting it up. The wires came broken from shipping. Never even got to use it b/c my hamster could get out of the massive gap

Hamsters need actual space for toys and a large wheel and to run around and explore. This just doesn’t provide that, it gives the bare necessities to keep that hamster

Hamsters need actual space for toys and a large wheel and to run around and explore. This just doesn’t provide that, it gives the bare necessities to keep that hamster alive and that’s it. No animal that runs miles every day in the wild should be forced to live in a tiny box, there’s many other appropriate cages like bin cages and 40 gallon tanks.

This is far too small for any small animal to use as a permanent home. Hamsters need 600sqin minimum of unbroken floorspace. Gerbils and mice need to be in pairs

I have a single mouse in this cage do to not getting along with others. The wheel is small and not good quality. The assemble of the cage was straight foreword

The assemble of the cage was straight foreword and easy to put together after looking at picture on box. The bottom two doors are gravity held. Placed a piece of type over cover for security. Looking forward to adding tubes and other habitats.

This is an inappropriate cage, all crittertrails, tiny tales, etc. are far to small and expensive for any small animal. The current bare minimum for hamsters is 450 sq inches and it’s recommended that you give at least 600 sq inches. For mice, you need at least 400 sq inches. For gerbils, you need at least a 20 gallon tank, they will chew their way out of any wood or plastic. Please do your research before getting any animal.

This cage is not suitable for hamsters the bare minimum in the united states is 450 sq. in of unbroken floor space so please do not buy this!! It doesn't matter how many of these cages you connect together or if all them added together equals 450 sq. in, in the end they need unbroken floorspace because they are foragers. Not to mention you can't fit any enrichment into this cage either. Hamsters are very stress prone and can die very easily from getting too stressed so for the well being of your furry friend please consider getting a bin cage or a 40 gallon breeder tank instead.
