Feed Exact Rainbow food every day in a clean food cup. Adjust to the bird's actual needs and spillage. Provide a clean, fresh supply of water daily. Exact Rainbow food is designed to be the bird's sole diet. Limit additional foods, such as fresh fruits, vegetables or other treats, to 20% of the bird's total diet. When used as directed, no additional vitamin or mineral supplements are recommended.
When changing to a new food or diet, birds require time to adjust. It is recommended to slowly mix the old with the new until the birds are accustomed to the new diet. For best results, limit the portion of food available to the suggested feeding amount.
After 21 days feed Exact food only - your bird should be completely converted. Observe your bird closely to ensure it is eating Exact food and not searching for its old food. A color change in the droppings (to a brown or reddish-brown color) should be evident with successful conversion. Conversion time may vary.

ParaKEET perhaps, not PARROT..

I definitely do not recommend this for a medium to large parrot. I have (2) Amazons & a B&G Macaw that will eat nearly everything, but not this. The ‘pellets’ are so tiny they break into a powdery substance as I add to the feed cups. I honestly cannot tell if anything gets consumed unless I only put these into the dish very delicately..today I watched all 3 birds just throw them around and the Macaw scream incessantly because I didn’t mix anything with that she will eat-this is obviously not a choice for her ever again, but also not for the Amazons..lots of flinging it, but no eating or even ‘soup making’. Disappointed with this product in all senses. I recall a fruit loop looking pellet years I definitely do not recommend this for a medium to large parrot. I used to feed Kaytee and I recently switched back to using this for some of the pellets I offer. I won't buy Zupreem anymore because I opened a bag that contained Maize or rice Moths. Luckily I caught it right away but despite the fact that I was able to avoid an infestation in my home I am traumatized. I hate the purple pellet color because when I see the crumbs from the purple pellets it looks like a Maize or a Rice moth. It is totally unnecessary to offer purple. Mostly though I wish they would just use something natural to color the pellets as Higgins Intune does. Both my Red Bellied and DYH Seem to do really well on this and I am glad I have switched back and am now using this along with I used to feed Kaytee and I recently switched back to using this for some of the pellets I offer.
