Guinea Pig Won’t Go in This!
By CocoasMom on Mar 14, 2021
I wanted a wooden hideout for my guinea pig, because he would chew the entryway to his clear plastic one, and I didn’t want him ingesting any plastic. The construction of this hideout is great. It looks and smells nice. But my guinea pig won’t go in it! It’s been 2 days and he hasn’t gone in it. He peeks inside and nibbles the outside of it, but he refuses to go in it. I even put carrots in there, and he just stretched himself as far as he could to grab the carrots without going all the way in (very clever). He likes to lie down in the space between the back of the hideout and the wall of his cage. Why won’t he go in it? Is it too dark in there? Does he just have to get used to it? Obviously he can’t answer these questions! I don’t want him to think he has no place to go when he’s startled. Maybe my guinea pig is weird, so I don’t want to rate this product too poorly or deter anyone from buying it. … more

Poorly made
By Beth on Apr 1, 2021
It's only my opinion. I think kaytee products have been going down in quality. There was a time I only bought kaytee. Although I still do love their water bottles

Too small for my girls
By Shaymin on Mar 1, 2021
This is too small for my five guinea pigs, I own a larger version of this one I don't know why this one is smaller.

Get a way guinea pig house
By 5guineapigs on Feb 3, 2021
This is a bit small, and would fit one skinny pig. My pigs are a bit fat so they don’t like staying inside, they chew on it sometimes :)

The girls love it
By GoldenRetrieverMom on Nov 19, 2020
This has been a quality hide that both my girls love. I bought a second one for their cage extension so they each have their own now. Happy that its wood in case they decide to chew on it. Sturdy and has not tipped over. They both fit in one house if your pigs are into sharing.

Pretty Good
By Jenn on Oct 12, 2020
This is a nice wooden house, it doesn't make the cage so colorful so it adds a natural look, which is nice. Though as my piggies grew bigger it was a little small for them, but to this day they still try to squeeze in it to lay down.

Bought for a guinea pig house
By AshleighT on Jul 7, 2020
I bought four of the large for my guinea pigs. I wasn't sure if that would be the right size, but I went ahead and tried it. It worked out great since none of my girls like to share their houses. I have sorta of medium sized pigs. 2 Americans in one cage and 2 teddy's in the other, with a house for each piggie. They all fit in the houses with room to spare to stretch out. My girls aren't real big chewers so I've had them 2 months and they still look practically brand new. All in all, i'm glad ordered them and will order again if ever necessary!

Guinea pigs like it but fight
By BBB3 on Aug 25, 2020
My pigs like this house (especially my shy one), but they sometimes will fight when another one tries to go in it, so I might stick to houses with 2 entrances/exits. It’s great quality and super cute though.

Trixie loves it!
By rabbit on Oct 19, 2020
I bought this for my small rabbit. She loves it. Not only does she hide inside, she likes to lay on the top.
