Floating Pond Fish Food

The fish are waiting every night for their food. We have Bass and Bream. It floats so you can see them eat.

Taking care of my pond pets

My pond pets are going crazy over their new food. When I go to feed them it becomes a feeding frenzy.

I used to buy Skretting but I understand they went away. This was very close to the same product as theirs. The koi and cat fish go after it pretty aggressively, so I assume they like it. And it's about 1/10 the price of some of the fancier foods. If I had a little private pond, I'd probably pamper the fish more with more expensive food, but I've got a big community pond and LOTS of fish. Not economical to feed them the fancy stuff.

Fish do not like it.

I tried this fish food in my pond and the fish eat very little of it. They appear to not like something about it, taste maybe or the extreme hardness of it. I mix

The only thing wrong is that the fish won't eat it. Even tough there is a bass on the label, they aren't interested at all. I have a 3500 gallon koi pond the got cleaned out by a river otter (in Austin!) so I just put a couple of large mouths and a couple of sunfish in to keep the mosquitos away. To expensive to replace the koi only to have them be a buffet. I'm trying to find a food I can feed them that won't break the bank.

The fish seem to love the food.

They eat it all. The bluegill and tilapia love it, the grass carp eat it too. The bass don't seem to eat it, but go after the small bluegill that do.
