Fantastic food, big supply issues

Five stars for the feed, one star for Chewy's handling/communication with it. My rabbits love this food, to the exclusion of all other feeds - they will dig everything

Five stars for the feed, one star for Chewy's handling/communication with it. My rabbits love this food, to the exclusion of all other feeds - they will dig everything else out of the feeder if Show Hutch 17 is in the mix. I ran through my last order faster than anticipated with growouts and ordered again. 2 full days later Chewy has yet to put them in the mail, which means I'm going to run out. Chewy ships everything else so fast that I have it in hand 2 days after order, but not this feed. It was out of stock everywhere for several months very recently so it probably isn't an issue on the Chewy end, but if it is out of stock it NEEDS to say that on the product page!! Unfortunately I'm in Colorado where this feed is not stocked in any physical stores so I'll be feeding hay until it comes in, and despite the quality I'll have to seriously consider whether a continuously disrupted feed supply is acceptable for animals with as sensitive a digestive system as rabbits (no, it's not, which means I go back to crappy in-store options or a lot more work on my end to source chemical free hay). That or switch to ordering to TSC for in-store pickup, as they carry it $7-10/bag cheaper anyway.

Smells Fresh and Very Little Dust

Our rabbits LOVE this food. We have tried almost every brand of food over the past 12 years. This one smells fresher than any others. We have a small show here that do pretty well. We brought a rabbit in from a breeder who fed something quite a bit more expensive. It didn't smell nearly as fresh as this and after mixing the Blue Seal in with his food, he refused to eat the expensive feed. They get mad when we run out and have to feed something else. Every once in a while we get a bag that they tend to not like as much so that's why I gave it 4 stars. It seems that this one is out of stock a lot so I stress it each time my auto order says it is unavailable.

My 2 buns are seniors who are underweight (one due to kidney disease) and they started becoming very picky eaters and ignoring their typical pellets. I tried a few other types/brands to no avail, and our Vet and local rescue owner recommended trying other types of pellets. We tried out a sample of this and they actually liked it! Even though we will eventually be trying to get them back on their original brand, it's keeping their bellies full and hopefully putting weight on them. The price was very reasonable too for the size!

Little waste or dust at bottom of bag

It seems like better quality than what is a popular brand at the farm/pet supplies. There is little dust. The pellets are a bit smaller. My rabbits BM are not ideal

We used to buy a small farm supplied pellet from Chewy (or you can directly buy) and will likely switch. It seems like a good pellet, just not for my rabbit.
