I recently purchased this as a replacement for the Keyflow Maestro as that had been out of stock for quite some time. I actually like the fact that it has freeze dried looking carrots, beets, and pieces of other stuff. It does look very similar to the Maestro in appearance. I soak this. They get about a cup in addition to their Pink Mash and they seem to love it.

I have a very senior mini stud and a 20+ QH gelding. I liked this feed because of the low sugar content and that it provides calories and energy without the extra heat. It is consistently in the 100s here during the summer so I’m always looking for ways to keep the heat down but energy up. My mini can be a picky eater but he ate this. I can’t say it was a favorite but he ate it and that’s a good thing. My QH is a foodie so he was thrilled to have something new. Both did well on this as an addition to their regular hay and pellets. I would use this again.

I got this for our aged pony. He needs low cal and low sugar, so this seems ideal for him. He seems to really like it, but I'll say that it's a very different looking feed. There's lots of different types of pieces and dried carrots. Other than at first being surprised by the appearance, he seems to love it. I'm not sure he noticed what it looks like, he ate it right away.

This is a product that I chose for a senior horse with high insulin since it is low in sugar and starch. While it was eagerly eaten, and he is a fussy eater, in reading the ingredients I found that it contains molasses. I have been advised by the vet to avoid all feeds containing molasses for this particular horse, But I recommend it if your horse does not have this issue.

I loved this grain and my horse loved it even more. We had a heatwave last week temps over 100. Typically when it gets so warm I will hold back on the grain so as not to overheat the boys while training. But i figured this one suggests that it boosts energy without overheating. I have to say i was pleasantly surprised we did a full round pen workout and he seemed to have good energy and didnt sweat out like he normally would. He really seemed to enjoy the dried bits of forage in the feed as well almost as if i had given him a treat. I think this grain is worth every penny and i look forward to seeing how his performance changes as we finish up the bag.

Amazing grain the horse just LOVES! Our rescue Standardbred really enjoys this grain. Her head never leaves the pan of grain! She acts like it is a bowl of candy

She need to gain weight and this grain seems to be her favorite so far. The grain is a good texture. The weight gain is to be seen but this grain will be part of her diet!

This grain has a rather interesting look to it compared to your typical grain but is a textured feed so that is to be expected. My gelding has been eating this as a top dressing to his grain but will eat this straight out of my hand as well.

This seems to be a good addition for horses sensitive to sugar. My horses were somewhat indifferent to it. They were a little more scrutinizing of their feed with this added in. They did finish their feed, but it wasn't a favorite for them. I didn't notice any "hot" behavior after feeding, so it seems to be a good option for that.

Older horse approved!

My very picky older horse really likes this feed! Im looking forward to ordering more. The palatability is great for the older ones and I even served it to him wet

My very picky older horse really likes this feed! Im looking forward to ordering more. The palatability is great for the older ones and I even served it to him wet and he ate it that way too. Excellent choice for the ones that need less starch or tend to be on the chunky side!
