Can this be used on a captain's chair in the second row

This seat can be used on either the left or right side of the backseat of your vehicle. The seat strap hooks over the front and back seat headrests.
How does the dog get in?...... dose the other side zip open or what?

This car seat does not zipper open. You will have to lift your pet and place them inside the car seat. Attach the safety lead to your pet’s collar or harness and then snap directly into any seatbelt buckle.
Does the top zip shut?

BEST CARSEAT EVER

THIS IS THE BEST CARSEAT!! I have a 24 pound beagle and he LOVES his new seat. It comes with an extra strap to click into the seat buckle and attach to his collar/harness to keep him from jumping out which was a problem with other seats due to it being too high for him to see out of the seat and getting on the window. This is the absolute perfect height and fits in my VW SUV back seat perfectly. Also this is surprisingly good quality. I’ve had it for a few months and use it a couple times a week and it’s still holding up. I throw a blanket on the bottom of the seat for my boy and he sits in there perfectly AND he still has room to snuggle up and lay down in the bottom without being cramped. HE LOVES IT!!

Using with my Cavalier King Charles

Easy to install. I like the side mesh. Training my CKCS to sit in here is working. I used a different attachment to clip them in though instead of what came with it.

Great ride for my little guy

Lightweight and super easy to intstall....feels so much safer for my little pug mix. He is 15lbs. If a larger dog used, I think the side rails might not hold.
