This product has a sturdy top half and flexible lower half ensure a secure fit and total block that your dog can’t get through. However, a determined dog can jump over this barrier.

Can I replace the flimsy bungees with sturdier ones?

It is not recommended to make modifications to the product or using it in combination with non-K&H products. Doing so may void the warranty and could compromise the safety and effectiveness of the barrier.

It can't help that my dogs are stubbron

This is a decent solution for keeping dogs in the back seat, however, it does not fully prevent them if they're determined. I have 2 herding dogs. When driving,

This is a decent solution for keeping dogs in the back seat, however, it does not fully prevent them if they're determined. I have 2 herding dogs. When driving, it works like a charm and they stay back. If we leave them in the car, they still manage to make their way to the front seat. The product itself is nicely made, easy to install, and a nice alternative to putting up a full friggin wall. For me, it works well enough and I'm grateful for it!

The battle has always been how to keep Tikaani in the back seat. At first this worked. He wasn't too sure of crawling over it. Then he decided he really needed to be with me and that was it. He loves to get in the car but once in, he does not settle down. Still trying to figure out a way to keep him safely in the back seat. He has gotten out of harnesses, over or through barriers and pulled seat belts until they release. He even stays active after giving him CBD or other relaxation meds. He just zonks when we get to our destination.
