Has this carrier been crash tested?

This product has not been tested by a government agency. It is intended to keep both the driver and the pet safe from the distraction of the pet being loose while you are driving. The product includes straps that secure the carrier to the headrest as well as the seat belt. In the event of an accident the carrier will help restrain your pet from flying freely throughout the car.
Can the small sized carrier fit be used on the front passenger seat of the car, or do all of them have to be in the back seat?

The carrier can be installed to either the front or back seats.
Is the carrier held rigid by something like wire in the edge seams? Or will it collapse flat when not strapped into the car?

The edges and sides of the carrier are supported by wiring material. This product is meant to be collapsible when folding it up, but when strapped in the car, it includes straps that secure the carrier to the headrest as well as the seat belt to keep it upright.
Will the medium size carrier fit on a bucket seat in my SUV?

Excellent pet carrier

I purchased the large carrier to transport our two small dogs when we travel. Both dogs are 11 lbs each and there is plenty of room for both to lay down. The carrier is very easy to put together then fold up when not needed. This size fit perfectly in my husbands Dodge Ram when we folded up the back seats and put down the platform bench. With the added safety strap the carrier did not move at all while traveling. Having zip up openings on the 3 sides is a great feature. Overall, the carrier is a quality product that I would recommend to others.

Perfect for my beagle

Love that it has both a strap to go over the headrest, and another to put the seat belt through on the back. We don't have to worry about our beagle going all over the place like when we only had a hammock seat cover. He loves it so much, I'm going to get another one to keep in our other car. Huge plus that these fold down too. For reference, I ordered a medium and it fits great in our car.

Great Product

I love this safety carrier for my 3 year old dog. She had a traumatic experience in a booster seat and after that would not stay in it. Halo loves the carrier and will ride long distances very comfortably. The mesh allows airflow so she doesn't overheat and it is easy to get her in or out with 3 possible openings. It is flat on the back allowing it to sit against the back of the seat. I like that it is held secure by both the headrest and seatbelt. I am confident that she is safe during our road trips.

Cat Carriers

These carriers were great! Our cats could stand up and lay down and stretch out. They have never been in a carrier and fussed for a while and finally fell asleep. We put all three cats in the back seat of the truck all the way across. We had to turn one a different way so all three kennel carriers would fit. They stayed in them for about three hours. The carriers open in so many places so you can put your animal many different ways.

COMFY TRAVELING

Our 3 month old Aussie pup was getting way too cramped in our Maine Coon's carrier, as big as it is. After much research and lot's of review reading, we settled on this car carrier. Our pup can stand up in it and still have room above his head. He can lay stretched out and still have room all around him. The best part is that given that the sides are all mesh and see though, he can see his older Aussie brother in the seat next to him and we can see him from every angle. FANTASTIC!!!!

Nice soft side crate

Well worth it. Bought to bring new puppy home and it works really well. Set it in center backseat and strapped it in with center seat belt. Pup now uses it as night time sleeping bed. Have used it for a week - vet trips and a 7 hour trip. So far so good.

Ok, but not sturdy

This is a nice car crate however, it is not extremely sturdy. The back that connects to the seat belt is very flimsy. The inside is spacious for our 13lb cavapoo. I really like the 3 zippered openings- each side and the front. All in all a good value. This was my first purchase from Chewy and I was pleased with the ease of ordering.

Amazing

I got this in hopes to make my move less stressful for my two cats and it exceeded my expectations!! I got the medium size and it fit two adult cats perfectly. They could both lay down with extra space! It’s also super sturdy and secure. I highly recommend!
