This bone broth is easy to mix with a frother. I pop 1/3 cup of water in the microwave for 15 seconds and then mix in 1/2 Tbsp of broth mix with a frother to make it easy, and then pour it over dry kitty kibble. It’s a convenient way to get them to drink more water, which is so important for kidney function. It also saves money, since they can get wet food, which is more expensive, for 1 meal, and the broth over dry food for their second meal.

Why we like this: - convenient, resealable packaging - great aroma and she loves the flavor - protein packed This is a great protein booster for my pregnant Bichon Frise. When she is pregnant, sometimes her food doesn’t seem as appetizing and she will walk away from her meal. We do not free feed the dogs, so it’s important that she eats regularly. It’s extra important that she gets more protein and adequate nutrition during this time. I have tried a couple different bone broth additives and food toppers and this does more than add a little bit of flavor, I’m actually adding protein to her diet. For her body weight I only need a half tablespoon, so although the product is pricey, I don’t use very much daily. The cost is certainly worth the benefit. The aroma is not disgusting to me as a human, and the canine thinks it’s very yummy. I believe the turkey tail mushrooms do you make a difference in her health and we like to stick to limited ingredients. I can certainly recommend this for canines that need more protein or our picky eaters and not consuming enough nutrition.

King Lou bone broth booster is an easy supplement to my pets diet. I can sprinkle it onto my pets dry food or I can add water and make a broth as a drink or to pour over my pets dry food for extra flavoring. I recently adopted 2 brand new kittens and I used this to make a mash with their kitten kibbles as they were too young to eat dry food, they absolutely loved it. It is also really good for my pets digestion, skin and coat! I would highly recommend!

Our border collie mix seems to enjoy this powder on his kibble. We simply add water to it. The package is easy to open and reseal. I appreciate that it is human grade, preservative free, and free from grain, corn, gluten, soy and sugar. The packaging is made from post-consumer recycled content. While we haven’t noticed any obvious benefits, he does enjoy it.

I used it dry because they eat dry dog food, but might be more enjoyable if it’s wet. I only applied it for 1 meal a day (my dogs eat twice a day). I still recommend it because of the benefits of bone broth though.

Our Large dog Loved it - both sprinkled on kibble as powder and mixed with kibble after mixing with warm water. It is a good product, but just not palatable by all dogs.
