The texture of this is what I would expect. There were no chunky parts in it. Love that it is lamb flavored as our dog is more sensitive to chicken. He seemed to really enjoy the taste. It did take him longer to eat than his regular food as well since he had to do more licking to ensure he didn’t miss any. The odor wasn’t as strong as I expected either when I opened the can.

I have 2 dogs. One dog LOVES this. The other dog won't touch it. I use canned food to hide my dogs medicine and this food is the perfect texture. It's a soft pâté texture so my girl scarfs it down without a clue there are meds hidden in there. It also works great for lick mats or other slow feeder type bowls/toys! The only downside is that it's grain free, but since I use it as a treat, my dogs main diet has all of the nutrients they need.

Feeding my 1.5 yr old Weimaraner has been a struggle. It took us a long time to find a food that he could tolerate. It seems he has a sensitivity to chicken and chicken by-products. This limited ingredient lamb dog food has made meal time 1000x better! I no longer have to negotiate with him to eat his food. He does get it mixed as a topper with his other dry dog food (sensitive stomach stuff-lamb). He would typically not even eat if I was out for appts or errands. He now eats without me begging him to eat. We just ordered a larger case because this has passed the picky weim test! I also added it to subscription. My husband and I have agreed it is well worth it!

Dogs seem to love this food!

I used this food as a topper for my dogs kibble and they both loved it. It has a mousse type consistency, not a chunky food with real meat pieces visible. It worked

I used this food as a topper for my dogs kibble and they both loved it. It has a mousse type consistency, not a chunky food with real meat pieces visible. It worked perfectly for giving pills to my older dog. I poked them into the middle of a spoonful and he just ate them right up. My older dog has always eaten grain free and has a sensitive stomach but neither dog had any stomach issues as a result of eating this and seemed to really enjoy it. It is the first thing in their bowl that they eat!

My dogs loved this. They get so excited about wet food. This was more of a pate consistency than I was expecting. Getting it all out of the can was a little difficult,

My dogs loved this. They get so excited about wet food. This was more of a pate consistency than I was expecting. Getting it all out of the can was a little difficult, hence the 4 stars. Had to get out a spatula to get it all out. No strong odor. The dogs scarffed it up happily.
