I ordered pup toys for my kids and they came to my correct address. Unfortunately a recent auto-ship order went to my old address. I called Chewy and they immediately sent a replacement order. I received it two days later! I truly appreciate their quick response. And my pups love this Koha Salmon. It does have pumpkin added which is a nice bonus!

Who says you have to wait for Halloween to enjoy some pumpkin? I had heard great things about KOHA Limited Ingredient Diet Salmon Entree Grain-Free Wet Dog Food, so I decided to give it a try. Having two German Shepherds, one with allergies, I knew both would be licking their lips at the prospect of this salmon entree with pumpkin. This product is free from grains and potatoes, contains no fillers, and is made with 90 percent salmon according to the label. They also offer a variety of other flavors to cater to your dog's particular tastes. Upon opening the cans of food, I took a smell test. It had a soft, aromatic smell of fish. The consistency of the product seemed wet, soft, and extremely moist. It was not like a pate style which a smooth loaf like texture, similar to a liver pate. One advantage to it having a large water content makes the dogs feel fuller without as many calories. I personally felt it was too wet and runny. Zeus, my 10-year-old German Shepherd, couldn’t even wait for his wife Zara, my 5-year-old female GSD, to join him. He devoured the entire can, licking his bowl clean, then looked up at me, asking for more. Zara came running around the corner, eager for her turn. She bent down, sniffed the food, looked up at me, and gave me a wink as if to say, "We're all good, Papa." Then she glanced at Zeus and playfully snarled to let him know, "This is mine, Zeus!" I would definitely recommend this product to fellow pet owners.

I enjoyed the product because it aligns with the diet regiment that I have them on. I currently use a salmon, grain-free dog food with works perfectly with this selection.

Good quality food and great as a mixer

The Koha limited ingredient salmon flavor seems to be good quality, and my dog seems to like it. My dog is not picky but does have a somewhat sensitive stomach

The Koha limited ingredient salmon flavor seems to be good quality, and my dog seems to like it. My dog is not picky but does have a somewhat sensitive stomach. No issues with this food for the past week of feeding, but I’m using to mix with his dry food and a little bit of veggies. The moisture content is a little on the high side, but that’s perfect if you’re mixing with kibble. So far, so good.

First of all, this food has top shelf ingredients. I began feeding about 1/3 of a can once a day, dry the other feeding. My dog loved it! Her coat shined up, dander was improved, but her system could not handle 1/3 of a can multiple days. She experienced intestinal issues. (loose stool). I began using as a "topper" and that has been successful. I guess if you had a pup that had frequent constipation, this would be your food.

This is the salmon limited ingredient canned food, seems very healthy. The only reason I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars is because of the they way it looks. It looks unappetizing and that probably doesn't matter to the dogs. One dog immediately loved it, the other who is a picky eater took a bit and seemed to like it better if it was a new can at room temperature or if it was refrigerated we heated it slightly for her then she liked it. A great limited ingredient canned food!
