My cat has had the same flamingo since he was 3 months old. Yes, he chewed through the string in one night, but for the first couple weeks, he pulled that bird through the house in his mouth, stick dragging along behind him. After the string was detached, that bird became his baby. He’s now 6 years old, and to this day he hugs it, licks it, bites it, kicks it, and brings it to me when I’m down or sick. Even the floppy legs are still attached after all this time. Kong quality is unparalleled!
My cats love this interactive toy . I can move it for them or they can play with it alone or together . Its like catching prey . The string is the weakest part . They have bitten through it twice . But it can easily be repaired with plain scotch tape.
My two cats are obsessed with this toy. They haven't been able to leave it alone since I took it out of the box. However I had to make a star down for durability reasons. Both of my cats are chewers and they gnawed right through the stretchy chord within 10 minutes of playing with it. I was able to re-tie the toy to the chord but I doubt it will last very long because of my cats chewing problem. I will likely order more though just because of how much they love it.
My cats are seven years old and this is the only toy they will play with since they were kittens. Giving it a four star review because the elastic doesn’t last long so I’ve had to replace the toy many many times. But for my babies’ happiness, it’s worth rebuying.
In fact he's playing with it right now as I type. He's a young kitty (2-3 yrs) with LOTS of energy and this toy has him doing all kinds of fancy maneuvers to pounce on it. This is by far his favorite toy ever!
My cat loves such toys very much. But this one in the picture is made with an elastic cord, it's bad. So when the cat catches the toy and if I let go of the handle, the toy will hit the cat.
My cat usually loses interest in toys pretty quick, even toys of this style on the string. But maybe it’s the feathers Or the catnip in it that she loves But as a senior kitty she has begun acting like a kitten while playing! She also has been snuggling it and sleeping with it which she never does with any of her other toys, catnip or not. So who knows the reason she loves it but she does! This is her sleeping on it
My kitty is *obsessed* with this toy! He constantly begs for us to play with him and is not interested in any other teasers right now. He has pulled off some feathers already though, so that was a bit of a bummer.
Dundee does amazing gymnastic jumps. Tootsie, our huge and mostly sedentary cat, will come running, but then mostly sits (or lies) there and bats it when it comes close. Only problem was it kept coming off the stick, but a little superglue solved that problem.
We’ve been having so much fun playing together. It’s nice seeing him move around so much
