cut off the feathers! feathers are dangerous for cats! but with feathers gone this toy is 10/10. it moves nicely, theres good weight but its not heavy. the rolled design gives when pulled or flung and it rolls well on the floor. because its woven it does catch claws a little so keep an eye but it also releases well trimmed claws quickly too. it almost looks like a snake when it trails along which catches interest well

We all know how quickly teasers fall apart. This one has been going strong for the better part of a year. Our cats love it. The mesh coil has a unique movement to it. It's fairly heavy, so it's not as lively as some toys if you wave it in the air. If you wave it on the ground, though, it moves in a really nice, erratic way that keeps the cats entertained. The plastic mesh has the perfect texture for gnawing, and our older cat loves chewing on it. You wouldn't know it, though: the coil still looks brand new. The feathers were securely attached, though they did come off eventually (as feathers do). The ribbons show no sign of budging, though. The handle is the only flaw. It's made of fairly flimsy plastic and snapped a few months ago. I've seen other reviewers complain about it, too. It's still long enough to use, but it's a disappointing flaw for an otherwise sturdy, entertaining, and well-designed toy. I hope they update it in the future!
