Thanks to a Christmas gift from last year, I have discovered that my cats seem to prefer the wand toys that have a little bit of elastic in them. I assume it's because this little extra bounce makes things more unpredictable and more akin to hunting prey. When my older cat comes out to join the fun, I know the toy is a hit. There is a LOT of feather material on the fish, and one of my cats tends to try to eat feathers. It has seen better days. Also, we got a good bit of use out of this toy, but the elastic band did fray after a while. If your cats like the toy, I recommend getting a backup for when it snaps/breaks/gets chewed apart.

My cat doesn’t play with toys like normal cats, she doesn’t care for anything that doesn’t have a feather on it. I even got one of those bird toys that moves and she doesn’t like it. With this toy, she chases it, jumps super high, and is always ready to play with it! It’s a simple toy that brings her a lot of happiness and I love that. She has ripped the feathers off it mostly so I will be buying another in the future! I recommend if your cat is also weird with toys!

My cats love it, and I love goldfish so it's a win for all of us. I did have to cut off the feather tail almost immediately when they started playing with it, because once they scratched it the little feathers were getting everywhere, as little pieces and even chunks. It could pose as a choking hazard, or even lead to a blockage with enough build up. I didn't want to risk anything, so I simply chopped it off. This isn't to say you shouldn't get the toy, as I do let my cats play with feathered toys, only when supervised. I just wish the manufacturer would use a feather that isn't as easy to fall apart! In the end, it's still a great toy

This is n awesome toy!!! It has transformed my happy napper into a jumping, twisting, bright eyed huntress!!! I almost feel bad that she hasn't been living her best life!!! This toy is well made, large enough to be interesting and to keep her attention with the feathers and ribbons. Super happy with this toy and bought another (its on sale) to save when my huntress finally slays her prey! Highly recommend!

The centerpiece came out quicker then I would have preferred but they play with that also so a win again! They both get enjoyment out of this one wonder if it is the color?
