My new dog loves demolishing rubber toys. She surgically split a medium Kong Extreme bone in half in about a half hour of chewing and has ripped up many other toys already in the month I've had her. I got the large Kong Extreme ball so it wouldn't fit in her mouth as well, and it's still going strong with just a few teeth marks! So far this, a large Kong Extreme Goodie Ribbon, a few Goughnuts toys, and a large WoofBite ball are the only rubber toys to last more than 20-30 minutes before going in the trash. If these had an option without a hole through them, they would probably be even better. I can tell that that'll be where she starts getting pieces ripped off eventually. (I make woven fleece ropes and make one with the rope going through the ball, so I like it for some applications!)
I have a red heeler that is a strong chewer who loves balls and fetching. He destroys tennis ball In minutes. This ball has lasted weeks and had no sign of damage. It ends up In bed and is the favorite toy. I didn’t have to put a thing on the ball to get my dog to love it. Worth every penny.
My dogs will play fetch with this one and pick it up off the ground, but it’s not their favorite because it’s just a little to heavy to catch in their mouths.
The hole in the toy, although probably intended for a treat, simply created an opportunity to rip the covering off this ball. Our dogs are hard chewers and we were hoping that the Kong reputation would stand up to them. Disappointed!
Definitely durable for our small dogs. Does tend to get dirty very easily so I find myself cleaning this often compared to other toys. But worth the value and does the job it was intended-- being tough for our teething puppy!
Maggie is a 85 lb. Lab. She loves playing with this. You just better watch your feet, because if she drop it on one of them it will hurt. It is solid and she hasn’t been able to tear it up.
Most durable ball I’ve ever found , my black lab pup destroyed every other type but this king is awesome, highly recommended
Heavy and dogs don't like and won't play with it. If I throw it they will go after it smell it and leave it and want another ball
We have not found many toys that survive our doberman's incredibly strong jaws, most are destroyed within hours! Duke has not been able to even put a dent yet in the extreme Kong toys & he has been playing with them for two weeks.
This ball is really bouncy and extremely durable! My dog has so much fun catching it and playing fetch.
