Good Entertainment at Mealtime

We have an 11 month old labrador retriever. Who just gobbles down his meals. We have tried several others. All are in the trash now. We thought with Kong brand we would give it a try. We have had success with most of their products. Of course, we had to show him how to roll it around the floor in order for the food to drop out. He initially grabbed it in his mouth and try to chew it apart. Tried to shake it. Even was able to pop the top of the lid off. I initially thought oh well, there goes another one in the trash. But then he started to understand how to perform it by rolling it around the floor and the food would drop out. It is beat up already from him chewing on it. However, I think we’re going to order another one because it is slowing him down from gobbling. And seems to be enjoying rolling it around. It has definitely slowed down his meals. And I like the fact that he is having fun with it.

Gyro Dog Toy

I saw one of these at a clients house for their dog & Skylar just loves it! I am so happy I finally got one for my Lily (I have been searching)!!! Lily is very food attentive, but a TOTAL couch potato, so she gives up before she can get all the kibble out! So happy these are on the market again!!!

perfect for fast eater

The is was perfect for my mini schnauzer. I wanted a way to keep her from scarfing down her food. This also challenges her a bit more than one of those bowls for faster eaters. My 40lbs dog got a hood of it and destroyed it as he does to most toys but buying it again for my small dog.

Not for puppies or aggressive chewers

I purchased this toy to help my 8 month old Rottweiler Pup occupy his time and skills hunting for snacks.. It lasted 48 hours.. Ox had chewed a half quarter of the red portion completely off. But he had fun trying to get the treats... next time I will take it from him once all the treats are gone

Not For My Dog

Our dog is a medium chewer and has virtually destroyed the outer ring on this toy. It doesn't dispense the treats very well, so she gets frustrated and just chews the outer ring. We've had to take it away. I usually like Kong toys, but this one wasn't worth the $. We're very happy with Chewy, but this toy didn't work out for us.

Poor quality

I wish I would have read the reviews of this before I purchased it. It didn't last 5 minutes. My dog chewed right through the red ring. Waste of money. Out $15.00. I can't believe you would sell this under the KONG name. I wouldn't give it one star but I had to.

Makes mealtime fun

The size large holds half a cup of kibble comfortably. We use this kibble dispensing toy along with 2 others (Busy Buddy twist and treat, Kong wobbler) to feed our puppy his dry food meals. This one is nice because it is clear and you can see if there is any food left inside it.

Able to Destroy

Unfortunately, my dog was able to chew up the red ring pretty quickly which was disappointing. However, he is a 75 lb puppy with huge teeth. For the average dog it would probably be fine. The center ball has survived fine.

Not good for tough chewers

I bought this elsewhere when I happened to see it in a store. It didn't last five minutes with my super chewers. Cute idea but not strong enough. After I took the attached photo he managed to break it into pieces and break the ball open.

Very cool treat dispenser

Both of my dogs love this toy, it's easy for them to push around or toss around if they want. There's a piece inside that blocks the kibbles from just falling out of the hole, they have to be shaken out, so it's extra challenging! I wish it came in a bigger size so I could use it for my large dogs meals but this one is great as a snack toy!
