So this isn't suitable for dogs 1 year old and over??

KONG toys can be cleaned in the top rack of a dishwasher. It can also be cleaned by soaking it in warm water with dish soap to loosen leftovers and using a brush or old toothbrush to remove stubborn bits, then rinsing.

I have got these for my 11 yr old rat terrier mix when she was a puppy and she has never chewed it up like this one. Maybe it was a defect or something but I am going to see if I can get my money back or a replacement

No interest from the puppy.

My puppy didn't have any interest in this toy by Kong either. I think we need to stop trying Kong toys as we haven't had any real luck with our dogs ever playing

Fun while it lasted

This was a nice toy for my 25lb dog while it was around. This toy lasted roughly 6 months before my dog was able to tear it up completely.
