Dogs love it!
This toy is quite a good size. It gives a little honk when you squeeze the belly that sounds like a goose. At first, this kind of scare the dogs and they ran away from it. But once they checked it out and saw that it was a toy, they began to play with it. They have shaken it ferociously by the neck, which seemed a little flimsy. But I’ll tell you I have had it for a few weeks and they have not destroyed it yet, so that is a great sign. Overall, they really seem to like it and will fight over it.
love & Tragedy
My one year old Pyrenees pup loves this duck, but he and older sister Rhodesian Ridgeback mix ripped it's head off the first day. I performed a reattachment surgery this morning - we'll see how it goes! I expected a little more durability from a KONG toy. I might recommend it to a friend with a smaller dog, but the white ring around the neck is a weak spot for a big dog.
Not like other Kongs
I usually buy Kong toys for my dog as they are tough and durable and last months. However, this duck did not last even 30 minutes. She ripped out the threads and tore out the plastic quickly. I'm disappointed in the quality of this toy as it is not the same as other Kongs I have purchased.
Aug 31 - Sept 4 RIP Mr. Quacks
First to go were the wings. Today the neck literally snapped in two. My pup just turned 4 months, 21lbs. She's rough on toys, but not this rough. I bought this strictly due to the brand name. I've used KONG for years! This duck was NOT up to KONG standards and I'm not happy so much money went down the drain in such a short amount of time.
GSP's best friend
had cheaper duck, that did not last long. this one is much larger and my GSP runs across backyard carrying duck. her favorite toy. lost a foot within a couple of days, but still holding up. I find kong more durable. would highly recommend.
Bad
I was really excited to receive this squeaky toy for my dog. The squeaker lasted for 30 minutes at most. He still likes playing fetch with it but I wouldn’t recommend this product.
Dog killed it
It squawked one time. Then my dog shook it and it never squawked again. The noisemaker is still set in the bellow. Toy is worthless. My dog like squeaky things. She has had toys for 4 years that still work
Head came off
Had duck leass than a week and my puppy chewed the head off the duck and it's no good. I expected better from Kong.
Disappointed
My border collie mix got about 10 minutes of play before the honker quit working. I expected better from a Kong toy.
