Does this make a mess as the dog plays with it?

My dog eats REALLY fast. People recommend I fill the Kong toy with peanut butter, then freeze it, to slow him down. Will this peanut butter filling work well if it is frozen?

Difficult to use and can be messy

You have to make sure you squeeze the tube extremely well before opening to mix the oil with the peanut butter. I apparently did not squeeze well enough, and when

You have to make sure you squeeze the tube extremely well before opening to mix the oil with the peanut butter. I apparently did not squeeze well enough, and when I opened it, oil immediately dripped out onto my carpet. I closed it, squeezed even more and tried again. It was mixed well this time, but was a pain to squeeze it out. Only a tiny bit at a time would come out and it wasn't coating our Kong toy very well. I much prefer the Easy Treat cans over this. Will not purchase this again.

Great for travel

We use this when our dog goes to a pet sitter or out in laws so we don’t have to worry about them giving our dog peanut butter with any unsafe additives. The tube

We use this when our dog goes to a pet sitter or out in laws so we don’t have to worry about them giving our dog peanut butter with any unsafe additives. The tube is very convenient for smearing a little in a kong and unlike the sweet potato flavor they sell this is shelf stable and doesn’t need to be refrigerated
