I have never had luck with the hard plastic balls with jingle bells: and that was with owning cats of all ages for decades. These balls are making my current set of three cats extremely happy because they don't bounce too much but are fun to chase across our house (which is uncarpeted). It wears them out. Our chewer hasn't shown an interest in chewing on the harder ball, so the felt-style covering is enduring. Nothing coming apart. Just hide them away at night, though I've had cat toys that were far, far louder.

I'm not going to say that these are worth every penny, because I do feel like these are over priced, but the most important thing is that they ARE well made and my cats love 'em. So my rating is based purely on the engagement that I have seen with my cats. One of them even walks around with the ball in his mouth, which is just adorable. Still, $6 and some change for three tiny balls with bells in them?

My cats love to chase balls, but most are cheaply made, and easily chewed up. I took a chance on these and I’m glad I did. They love the balls, and unlike my last effort (sisal wrapped balls from another brand) they are holding up to hours of play!
My cat's favorite toy

These are by far the best toys I've found for my cat since she loves chasing balls around. They're small enough for her to pick up and carry around in her mouth but don't have twill or yarn glued to them so we've had ours for a few months without falling apart.
He Loves it!

These little balls are very cheaply made. Only one of the three made any noise. They are so tiny that they go under every piece of furniture.

Asked for a dog ball with a bell and they sent a cat toy, which is much too small
They love them!

The bell inside is a bonus! They all love the balls... now I need to find where they hide them all!
Not Fun For Cats

Even my one cat that loves to play with ball shaped toys does not play with these.
Good for dogs, not so much cats

My cats love to carry their toy balls around in their mouths, but these are too big for their mouths. The bells inside are faint. My cats really couldn't care less about these balls. The only reason for the two stars is because they do seem to be good quality balls, but then again my cats didn't play with them long enough to find out. My dog isn't interested in toys really, so I can't testify to that either, but these seem like they should be made more for a smaller dog than a cat.
