One of the shoulder straps tore off at the top while I was carrying my cat. Is there a way to have it repaired or replaced as I just got this in August and use it 2-3x a month. It looks like the cloth tore off from the top where it had been attached so it can’t be reattached as-is.

Does this have a place to connect the seat belt so it can be safely used as a car seat?

Answer by ChewySep 08, 2021
This carrier has a place to connect the seat belt.

I just bought it but can’t figure out the purpose of the inside strap ( not the black plastic buckle) that is midway attached to the back edge. Anyone know?

Answer by ChewyJan 15, 2021
The inside strap is used to attach to your pets harness.

Will the I-go plus hold 2 cats

Answer by ChewyOct 29, 2020
This carrier is suitable for pets who weigh up to 18 pounds. The interior dimensions are 12inches long by 11 inches wide by 18 inches tall. We recommend measuring your pets and comparing them to these dimensions to make sure they will fit.

I purchased this because I thought it would make my cat vet trips much easier but it’s not really. While the carrier looks good & in theory has a great concept, if differs from what I expected. The pull handle is wonky & doesn’t operate smoothly, leaving me with a worried, is it going to break, feeling. It takes a little time & patience to zip up which a cat owner doesn’t have, those little rascals want out! So, I’m scrambling trying to get the panel closed up in a frantic rush. But my largest disappointment are the wheels. They are made of thin hard plastic, they don’t spin or move multidirectional, only in a straight line forward & backward. If you need to quickly pivot, you’ll be sliding on those little plastic wheels, not rolling. Not sure of the longevity of this item. The positives are that it’s attractive & fairly roomy inside with a simulated wool lining. It’s nice that your pet has a lot of mesh for air ventilation along with visibility while in the carrier.

I bought this specifically an extended trip we started two days ago. I used this for the first time today and could not disengage the handle. After looking at it closely, i discovered the peg will no longer retract. no amount of force will retract that pin.

I had high hopes for this carrier as it checked all the boxes. I guess it would fine if you had three people helping you get your animal in and on your body. The openings are awkward, it's impossible to lift straight up without it listing sideways (like when you encounter stairs), impossible to get on your body when your animal is in it, and the straps drag on the ground when you are rolling it. I'm going to return to a suitcase style model.

The bars beneath the carrier which plug into 'female' receptors near the wheels have nothing to keep them inserted once a load (cat) is inside. I have used this carrier 6 times or less and they have always ended up outside the receptors, sometimes dragging beneath. My cat has been 14-17lbs, within the 'recommended' weight. I am not sure what a simple fix would be to keep the support bars within their receptors, but without that, they are pointless and don't seem to be removable. The wheels also rub on the fabric of the carrier which is annoying. Unfortunate design. 1 star because it still functions as a janky carrier, and another star because it functions as a bed.

This backpack fits a large cat, with great room for mobility. It is sturdy, easy to access pet, and has multiple access sides. It is a little large and awkward to wear, and it is difficult to roll as the straps get in the way (nowhere to clip them out of the way). It measures 12” deep which might be too wide to fit under and airplane seat, I need to check before flying. The measurements are 20X16X12”.

That kitty would be on ground. She is heavy and hard for us to lift and carry.

How large it is and how many ways there are to get your pet inside it.

One thing I don't like - the front zippers are no match for a cat. My guy could and would easily hook a claw in and make a run for it. I have them secured with paperclips

Ease of use for older bodies

It was very easy to assemble, holds up to 2 cats, & rolls very easily. I have arthritis & this allows me to still independently get my cats to their vet appts.
