Make any feeding changes gradual over a period of two weeks. May be fed as creep feed to starting kids at the rate of 0.25 lbs per head per day along with free choice hay. Increase feeding rate as goats come on feed gradually decreasing hay available. Feed to growing and finishing goats at the rate of 1 to 5 lbs per head per day adjusting for desired weight gain and performance. Feed to breeding and lactating goats at the rate of 1 to 3 lbs per head per day adjusting for desired body condition. Feed along with hay or roughage source. Have free choice salt licks available.
