    a little disappointed

By browndogz on Aug 13, 2021

I like the fasteners -- the clasp/clip & the carabiner. I like that the interior is a bright contrasting color. I don't like that it's a bit on the small & narrow side.

    Great treat bag

By Labmom on Jul 11, 2021

I love this treat bag. It has a nice clip and holds a lot of treats. I like the side pocket for bags or keys or what ever. The lining is easy to clean.

Poor Redesign of What Used to Be a Great Bag

By Mary on Mar 12, 2021

I bought 2 of these bags thinking it was the same terrific Kurgo treat bag I bought several months ago. Nope! This is poorly designed with a bag that is not as large so I can’t fit a lightly gloved hand into it for treats in cold weather. While the old bag had the drawstring cord on the outside and worked beautifully, this bag has the cord on the inside where the material is so thin it catches on the closure lock so I have to close the drawstring by hand and then secure it with the locking closure. I also often grab the closure piece instead of a treat because it sits right where the treats are. Also, while the old bag had long enough straps on the outside so I could easily secure it to any size I bought 2 of these bags thinking it was the same terrific Kurgo treat bag I bought several months ago. Also, while the old bag had long enough straps on the outside so I could easily secure it to any size belt, this one only has a loop and small carabiner so it dangles off the belt, (if I can fit it on the belt), often spilling treats if I bend down to tend to my small dog. I rate this item a negative 5 stars but was forced to give it one star so this review could be submitted. Please don’t waste your money. I’d send them back but shipping would likely cost as much as these worthless treat bags. … more

    Not very useful

By Lucas on Apr 1, 2021

As relatively inexperienced with dogs, I bought this bag prior to picking up my puppy at the breeder. I thought the concept was interesting but I didn't really end up using this bag. All treats come in their own bags which are easy to use. You will likely end up with several different types of treats anyway so this bag won't really be useful. I probably wouldn't have bought this.

    Mitten Full of Treats

By ChiefsHumans on Jan 26, 2021

We need a treat bag for our food driven puppy. This came in handy! Its like a mitten type bag. Not only can you hook it onto your jeans or belt loop you can also clip it inside to a hoodie pocket or on your hip. The only downside we have found is the pull string knob tends to get in the way when you are pulling out a treat my small hands don't mind it but my husband's hands are a bit larger making it frustrating for him. Overall it keeps the treats secure easy access (minus the pull string knob issue) and the side pocket is a cute feature too. Def solved our dilemma of always having treat crumbs in our pockets !

service dog handler and trainer review

By Maggie on Jan 24, 2021

I've had my original Kurgo treat pouch for about 2.5 years now. It's endured a Great Dane puppy chewing on it and carrying it around, I've shut it in car doors and drive across Orlando with it in the door, it's been used as a tug toy for said puppy, and I've stored all manner of treats inside of it. My one change to the product is that I swapped out the carabiner-style clip it came with immediately for an actual weight-bearing one so I can clip in on my jeans and not worry about the clip failing when I'm least expecting it. The drawstring cord's stay (the plastic fob at the end) does fall apart if you jerk it with intent, but it's easily fixed (I've done it three times). My rule is, it's not broken until you can't fix it. It's a design flaw that can be corrected. It's relatively water-resistant, but not something for a long walk in a downpour. I like to machine wash mine at least once a month depending on what type of treats I've been using (put it in a pillowcase if you do). The colour hasn't faded much at all and is just starting to show small signs of wear on the back loop where I have my carabiner clipped (I totally blame my swinging it around for stim time on that). I love the little zipper pocket on the back, I can stuff my ID, a credit card, and a spare clicker inside no problem. You can fit about 5oz of treats inside the pouch and depending on they type and size of treats you use, that's a lot of treats. Last note, I'm ordering a second Kurgo pouch so I can carry both freeze-dried and prepared treats separately. I hope Kurgo continues making this product for a long time, I'll always recommend this to people. ❤ … more

Horrible. Short 1 Inch clip ensures it falls off every time you bend over

By SubaruDog on Feb 3, 2021

If i could give this a negative star I would. This treat bag is completely unfunctional for training if you have a dog that you need to bend at the waist to give a treat. It falls off your waistband every time. The carbine is flimsy. Finally the inner liner and pull string with the clasp get mixed up with treats - this is not a big deal..but the bag not staying on a waistband because of the short 1" clip is a big deal.

    Great treat pouch

    By DogMomX3 on Feb 4, 2021

My fiancée is just starting with training with his dog, he is just working on basics and leash manners and he loves this pouch. It is the perfect size for him. It is a small to medium size pouch, so it isn’t huge. This works for us though and it has more room than you think just looking at it.

    Best treat bag for walks/hikes.

By Frankie on Apr 7, 2021

I love this. So easy to carry treats as well as keys. I have it attached to the leash. Easily attaches to the belt loop on jeans too.
