    Mostly great

    By on

I don't have any experience with other similar products but I am generally glad I got this one. I like the size and I especially like that it has a carabiner and a clip for attaching however you want. I also like the drawstring feature because my pup is very sneaky and if I'm not watching he'll try to steal treats. The only drawback with this product is that the stopper portion of the drawstring broke within a few days. So, the slider still works to open or close the drawstring, but the part that holds the two ends of the string together broke. I'll just tie and glue the ends together, probably, but of course it would have been nice if it hadn't broken in the first place!

    Better suited for a woman

    By on

The opening is a bit small for a mans hand and is probably better suited for a woman. The cinch ties don’t hold the top closed tight enough so if you plan on using soft training treats they won’t stay fresh for long, but it’s ok for dry/hard kibble like treats. I wish that the carabiner was a bit larger, I find it a little difficult to hook on my belt loop (another thing that is better suited for the smaller hands of a woman). Aside from that the quality of it seems to be pretty good and I think it would hold up well over time. The side pocket is nice for holding poop bags. The one caveat I have in recommending this is it’s really better suited for a woman’s hand.

    It's okay but narrow

    By on

I wanted to get a second bag for my belt so I could have high and low value treats. However the design of this is tight, long, and hard to reach into. So, I'll probably use this to hold other items and not when I'm training and need to grab stuff quickly. Seems well made though and has not fallen apart.

    drawstring broke

    By on

There are features I love about this bag. The pocket I put the house keys in and the carabiner being my favorites. The drawstring broke about a month after I got it. It’s also a nuisance to have the drawstring inside the bag, the ends are the size of a treat. Many times I had to fish around it for a treat while running with my dog. I’d love for a company to make a treat bag that hold up. Guess I’ll keep looking.

Good enough to keep, but I don't love it

    By on

This little pouch does what it is intended to do. It has a drawstring inside that is attached to the liner. I supposed the drawstring is for when the pouch is not in use to keep the treats from falling out. That's not a bad idea, but I find every time I put my hand in the bag I get hung up in the string, the grommet or the liner. I now pull the liner up and over the top of the bag and fold over the outside. It seems to do the job. If I were buying a new bag I would go for one a little bigger. I have average woman hands, but I can't get in and out quickly. And the clip is "eh". The carabiner works great! Well made and better then in my pockets.

    By on

It has a little pouch on back for potty bags which is nice. Wish it was just a little bit bigger for the treats. Much better then having them in my pants pockets to hard to reach quickly.

    No Way To Clean It

    By on

Concept is good but if you want to use chicken pieces, etc for training treats, you can’t clean it and the smell is awful.

Perfect Treat Bag for Walk & Training

    By on

This treat bag is a great size for training. I need plenty of treats for my rescue coonhound. It has a pocket that fits his poop bags and my keys, and it clips to his leash with the small carabiner.

    treat bag -easy and secure

    By on

The treat bag allows you easy access to dog treats while keeping your pockets clean. The bag cinches shut to keep the treat in and opens easily when it's time to reward your pooch. The pocket depth is just right: deep enough to keep the treats in when you open it but shallow enough to scoop one out when you want one for your buddy.

    Functional, but flawed

    By on

Ordered this treat pouch because I liked that it had a carabiner clip that I could use to attach the pouch to my belt loop. I am a plus size person, so most around the waist straps don't fit. The pouch works fine, the 2 things I would change would be the closure. The way the flap that cinches shut is positioned can make getting your hand in and out of the pouch tricky if you have longer fingers and larger hands like I do. Also, the pouch is very deep, which makes reaching your bait difficult unless it is filled almost to the top. I will still use this pouch, but I will look for something a little more shallow.
