About Kurgo Gear

Kurgo believes that your dog deserves to go everywhere you go, safely and comfortably. Way back in the early 2000s, before dog travel gear was a thing, Kurgo set out to solve a problem: how to keep the family dog from jumping in the front seat of the car. After lots of brainstorming and prototypes, their Backseat Barrier was born. Twenty plus years later, they’re still finding new ways for you and your dog to go together in confidence.

Can you attach to small dogs to this? Or do I need two separate set ups

Answer by ChewyJun 05, 2022
The Ridgeline Tie Out is designed to only be used with one dog at a time to prevent tangling.

Can you use with only one attachment point (e.g., single tree or pole)?

Answer by ChewyJul 10, 2022
In order to use the zipline this rope needs two anchor points.

Great for camping!

I have 5 springer spaniels, and we have 2 of these ziplines thar we use camping with our pups. They work great for my dogs. Highly recommend

Not as nice as Ruffwears version

0 elasticity to the line. This makes it harder to attach to a tree or post. It's also not as long or easy to adjust the length of it. Ruffwear amd the Acadia versions

I bought this for camping and backpacking, it’s an easy set up and if done correctly, shouldn’t damage the trees. (Also if you can’t figure out the buckle, look up how to use a cam buckle) I really don’t see the use of the “gear hangs” though. This tie out weighs 14.08oz. It is a bit heavy, but it’s only 2oz heavier than RuffWear’s tie out, and theirs is about $20 more expensive. My dog can only carry 7.5 pounds, and this tie out is about 11-12% of that, but it’s worth it for the peace of mind it provides.
