He likes it!

I have a 73 pound German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix. I bought him the extra large and it fits him like a dream. He used to trudge through the rainy PNW weather with his head hung down, and now he's like a spritely puppy in the rain with his coat on. A step up in his quality of life at 14 years of age. Pouring rain does cause leakage at the leash opening, and the under belly portion attaches to the top outside of the top. Leaks at both locations. It isn't perfect, but it's pretty good.

While the raincoat was well made and I believe would keep my pup dry, the neck opening was too small. The size chart posted states a 19 inch opening which is not

Tight neckline

I agree with other reviewers regarding the neck of this jacket. It’s very stiff and doesn’t have any elasticity/stretch, which makes getting it over my dog’s head

I agree with other reviewers regarding the neck of this jacket. It’s very stiff and doesn’t have any elasticity/stretch, which makes getting it over my dog’s head awkward and the fit seems uncomfortable for her. She’s a medium in other Kurgo jackets I’ve purchased and it appeared to be the right fit based on her measurements. I’m considering returning the Medium and ordering a Large for a better fit around her neck but am worried it would be too big on her body. Love Kurgo and Chewy in general, just disappointed by this design because it seems like a quality jacket otherwise.

For reference, my dog is a 10 1/2 year old pitty mix and weighs about 65 lbs. Thea coat is ctually a size large. Fits great. It's actually rain resistant. Very soft

We’ve not used it in the rain yet, but I did a test fit in the living room. I bought a Medium first, without realizing that it has to slip over the head (like a human T-shirt), so it didn’t fit over my dog’s big head. I got the Large, which fits over her head, but it’s pretty big in the body. I guess it’d be better if the “neck” opening was either elastic or had a buckle like the torso does.

Quality of this item is very good. I chose this rain coat as it has a adjustable strap and snap clasp which helps to keep the coat in place under the dogs belly
