How long is the leash when around your waist?

The length of the leash when wrapped around the waist will depend on the pet parent's waist size. The leash itself is 72-inches long with the handle strap clipped together. When the handle of the leash is completely opened up to use in a convertible fashion, like wrapping around the waist, the full length is 84-inches. The pet parent should be able to subtract their waist measurement from this 84-inches length to determine how long the leash will be when worn this way.

Also, as another review mentioned, it did not come with the sliding handle from the pics/videos. This could be really useful depending on your dog size and how you want to use it, but didn’t work for us.

The leash I received has a different tag, different carbiner, different clip and no padded handle than pictured. Everything works right now, but the carbiner and clip both feel and look less sturdy than what I see in the photos. No handle and different color tag. Possibly it is really a Kurgo product but the changes make wonder if Kurgo cheapened these things to save money. There's also a sliding clip that I don't know what it's for. I wouldn't recommend simply because I got a different product than pictured. It might still work well......

As someone who uses a wheelchair, I'm delighted with this dog leash! It's made taking my dog out for walks so much easier and safer. I particularly love the adjustable length feature, which lets me control how much freedom my dog has depending on the situation. The carabiner clip is sturdy, but it can be a bit tricky to work with, especially for someone with chronic pain. Overall, though, this leash has been a game-changer for me and my furry friend! (My dog is a 13 lb Pomeranian)

Alright but not for pulling dogs

If your dog pulls when you run, invest in a proper canicross human belt set up. When worn around the waist it won’t stay low across the bum cuz of the give on each

If your dog pulls when you run, invest in a proper canicross human belt set up. When worn around the waist it won’t stay low across the bum cuz of the give on each size portion and it will hurt your softer innards if the dog pulls. This is alright for walking, but the padded part is useless and gets in the way as it comes unsnapped constantly. Great way to have a long and short leash in one and works decently to walk two dogs with. It is heavy.
