Health vs. Instinct

I read that to “adjust” to no seed food you should remove all other food till they “my emotional support finches” accept their new food. They don’t have taste buds

I read that to “adjust” to no seed food you should remove all other food till they “my emotional support finches” accept their new food. They don’t have taste buds so it’s not the flavor, what seems to be missing is the satisfaction they get from husking the seeds in their mouths. I feel it is unjust to deprive them of something they obviously love and is instinctively ingrained in their being so I have started them on a seed blend again that I dust with vitamins and they seem much happier.

Keep them interested

Our Vet advised us to mix different pellets to keep our finches interested in their pellets. We do the same now for our other birds because it works. We mix 5lb

Our Vet advised us to mix different pellets to keep our finches interested in their pellets. We do the same now for our other birds because it works. We mix 5lb Lafeber premium with 1lb Lafeber tropical, and Zupreem fruit blend for the finches. They love it!

This is my favorite Finch food, can’t say enough about it. Only wish you would keep it in stock. I can’t buy it any longerin this size.

Their Favorite Food

My zebra finches love these pellets! Even my cockatiel started eating them. They breed great on it and are in good condition, the fledglings will eat this first

My zebra finches love these pellets! Even my cockatiel started eating them. They breed great on it and are in good condition, the fledglings will eat this first before trying seeds and other foods since it doesn’t need to be opened or anything. Just wish it was a little cheaper like the other formulas. We go through a 1lb bag maybe once or twice a month.
