This 15ft padded handled leash was great quality. When we bought it, it was to replace a 6ft leash that our sweet cuddly velociraptor poodle, chewed through while my mom was "watching" him. He just had too much energy for her, so she leashed him so she could sit down for a while and he chewed through it. So...we decided to go with a 15 ft leash so that he could roam a little while sniffing. The leash it great but a little too long. I made a handle for control at about the 6 ft mark but even then it was just too long so we went with a retractable locking leash. There was nothing wrong with this 15ft leash at all. It just didn't work for us.

I messed up and ordered a 15 ft leash when what I needed was 6 ft. I called customer and they took care of me in short order with total customer satisfaction.

Decent leash, frayed pretty quickly

I like giving my dog a bit more freedom with a 10 foot leash sometimes. The extra length means the leash touches the ground more frequently than a shorter leash

I like giving my dog a bit more freedom with a 10 foot leash sometimes. The extra length means the leash touches the ground more frequently than a shorter leash would, and this leash frayed more quickly than I would have liked. It’s still safe and functional, but I’ll need to inspect it regularly to make sure the fraying doesn’t get to the point of being unsafe.

Just the right length for snow

Our dog loves the snow. He wants to walk in it. We don't. This length gives him enough to romp and play and keeps us on the sidewalk.

the padded handle

i love it for when we go on our sniff walks! i can still shorten it when needed (i personally don’t mind having extra leash to hold others do) and then let him “go”

Length and comfort

My wife likes to walk our Lab and she will pull sometimes. This leash is very easy on the hands, especially those with arthritis!
