How long does this filter last?

The filters are typically estimated to last about 6 months, with the lifespan dependent on the current air quality as well as how often the unit is run. To maintain your filter, we recommend cleaning the pre-filter (outer layer of the filter) using a soft brush or vacuum hose every 2-4 weeks. However, please do not use water or liquid to clean the filter. Trapped water particles may result in mold growth or mildew smells.

Get the brand named filters!

I tried using off brand to save money but since my city has notoriously bad air quality I’ve found that the pet version of brand names version worsts WAY better

I tried using off brand to save money but since my city has notoriously bad air quality I’ve found that the pet version of brand names version worsts WAY better than off brand. I can vacuum filter weekly and will actually last as long as it says. Even works when FireWire smoke and nights all neighbors seem to be using their fire pit! The smoke filtration really stood out as superior to off brands. I’m using less filters. So there’s not a cost savings to going cheap. And less filters replacing is less trash.

Works well, but expensive

I wish these lasted longer because they're expensive and it feels wasteful to throw out such a large filter so often. But they do work really well at freshening
