Cat likes it but

Listen, shame on me for thinking the sides would be actual wood/faux wood but considering the normal price is comparable to other cardboard scratchers that DO have

Listen, shame on me for thinking the sides would be actual wood/faux wood but considering the normal price is comparable to other cardboard scratchers that DO have wood/more solid siding and the title says "Oak Wood" I feel like it's a bit of a bait that its just more cardboard. My cat enjoys these but despite their apparent solid build, he flips them regularly when running around and gets clipped by them. TDLR: it's okay, but even the sale price is way too much for the quality you get for these.

I put it in front of my bedroom window (she likes to hang out on the sill) as sort of a kitty window seat. My girl likes to use it as a step stool to get to the window, as a chaise lounge, and as a scratcher. We're both very happy with the purchase! (Also, the box it comes in is *chef's kiss*.)

Took a chance on this new scratcher and both of my cats absolutely loved it! They lay on it, and scratch them and not our furniture. Drawbacks: the occasional cardboard scraps that they scrape off on to the floor. Want to by another one because they have "used" them both and they need a refresher. Hoped it would have lasted longer.

Would not buy again

So far my kittens seem to be enjoying these, and it's nice that it comes as a set of 2, but I still don't think the quality of these matches the price. I have bought

So far my kittens seem to be enjoying these, and it's nice that it comes as a set of 2, but I still don't think the quality of these matches the price. I have bought similar design/shape scratchers from a different manufacturer, and they were way better. When you hold these up, you can see straight through them, that's how low quality the cardboard weave is. I do not think these will last very long. I will go back to the other manufacturer next time.

The best scratcher I've gotten

These things are HUUUUUUGE!!!!! And so far (fingers crossed!!) holding up super well. I have two large boys, my black cat(Tiny cat!) & tabby(Chairman) are 15 & 12lbs

These things are HUUUUUUGE!!!!! And so far (fingers crossed!!) holding up super well. I have two large boys, my black cat(Tiny cat!) & tabby(Chairman) are 15 & 12lbs respectively and they have been using it nonstop and it hardly looks scratched. With the shape we'll also be able to flip them over when the top is worn out and use the bottom. They all love to sleep on them as well, it's become my Grey cats favorite bed in the house.

The different textures and scratching surfaces keep them entertained and away from our furniture. It’s sturdy enough for our active cat to jump on and lounge around, and the variety of features keeps them engaged throughout the day. We’ve placed it in our living room, and it’s now their favorite hangout spot. Definitely a great investment for any cat household!

I’m hoping my cat takes to the Lounge Cat Scratcher soon because I really thought this was a winner. One reviewer describes this item as “huuuuge” and I’d say that’s misleading. My 1 yr old small tabby barely fits on the larger lounger and both pieces wobble-on hardwood floors and on a rug. I can’t imagine standing it on one end like one reviewer said she did. It fell over when I tried. My cat loves the catnip though!
