On the triangle cat scratcher, is the bottom third usable? My cats have destroyed the two sides and I would like to rotate it, but the bottom section seems very sharp and different than the sides.

The scratcher is rotational for more use so you can use the bottom scratcher.

Are there replacements for the vertical cat scratcher? My cats enjoy it but have scratched it some much and it needs to be replaced.

This product doesn't have any replacement parts available. It's advised that to maintain your scratcher, use a comb to pull up and catch loose shreds of cardboard. After extensive use, simply flip over to a fresh side, and it looks and feels brand new.

Does triangular Cat Scratcher require any Assembly?

This scratching post requires no assembly. To keep it stationary, place on carpet or on top of a floor mat. On non carpeted floors, place 4 silicone floor grippers on the underside, one on each corner about a quarter inch from the edge, or position the scratching surface against a wall.

The standard measures 18 x 10.5 x 16 inches and the large measures 24 x 10.5 x 21.2 inches.

Double the price, same item!

I used to buy these cat scratching triangle for $79 for the large, 2 years later, they are $150 or more. When you need it, you need it!

Sturdy, upright scratcher

I primarily got it to give them another vertical scratching surface to replace the bags. I ordered the standard size for my 10-12 lb kitties. If you have a larger cat I would probably opt for the larger size to give them height to scratch. The triangle feels pretty sturdy and I expect it to last a while, especially as it has an extra side when the first 2 get scratched down a bit.

Great scratcher

my 2 Ragdoll cats love this and have had numerous ones. However, this will probably be the last I order as the price has nearly doubled, unfortunately.

My cat is a bit finicky about scratchers. I had found one that he loved, then it was discontinued. After a bit of trial and error, I found this one, and he loves it. I'm not totally sure why...but the fact that it's vertical, just the right height for him (and he's a pretty big cat), and apparently the right texture...makes it just right! I like that there are three sides to it, and I can rotate them for complete and lasting use.
