Is this appropriate for an axolotl?

Axolotls need at least 10 gallons of water to survive, but 20–30 gallons is recommended. A 29-gallon tank (30 in x 12 in x 18 in) is the minimum size for one adult axolotl, but more space is better. Axolotls produce a lot of waste, so smaller tanks can lead to high levels of ammonia and nitrate.

Does this tank come w an insulation padding already?

I found a lid that fits

Arrived fast and in perfect shape. No scratches and no leaks. They don’t make a lid for this aquarium even though the aquarium comes with lid clips. I did find what

Arrived fast and in perfect shape. No scratches and no leaks. They don’t make a lid for this aquarium even though the aquarium comes with lid clips. I did find what I think to be almost the perfect fit, H2Pro canopy lid in 30” you do have to remove the glass from the plastic moving mechanism but you be left with a piece of glass and a plastic backings that you can cut to fit the rest of the width and and slots for filter tubing or cords ect. It’s 29.5 in length so you can use the corner lid clips but it fits better using the individual clips.

Totally clear!

Having no dark frame makes this tank look perfectly clear. It fits exactly on my bookshelf & but keep plants in it as a terrarium. Perfect for my space & plants

Good Tank

Got it on sale for a good price. Good size thickness of glass and dimensions over all. I did receive mine with a big chip in a corner and upon closer inspection

Got it on sale for a good price. Good size thickness of glass and dimensions over all. I did receive mine with a big chip in a corner and upon closer inspection part of the glass came off, the other part is hanging on by a thread due to the sticky liner on the bottom of the tank. Glass has 2 small scratches on opposite sides as well. I haven't filled it with water yet to test for leaks due to currently moving homes, but once i do i will update my review.
