Can this be used without the door

The door can be removed from the hood if preferred. The hood will function normally without the door attached.

They say we received this, he was very sick and was using a normal low litter, he pooped all over my wall! And thankfully we received the litter that day and it’s the only thing that kept my walls safe! Easy to clean and maintain, and great for blind cats!!

Horrible

I really thought that this was going to be a perfect way to solve a problem that my cats were having I bought the bottom first because my older male cat started

I really thought that this was going to be a perfect way to solve a problem that my cats were having I bought the bottom first because my older male cat started having anxiety and wouldn’t go in the bathroom in his little pan. They had a litter pan with the hole on the top and it was fantastic. I don’t know what the deal was between the two of them that they started having issues so the vet told me to get another litter pan for them so I did. I got the bottom first and he loved it and then she would go in it cause she loved it so eventually, I took the other little pan away and bought the top for this. I thought it was gonna be fantastic. Which at first I thought it really was, but it is such a mess. The letter is everywhere all the time. I just finished cleaning it before I put this on and it’s very difficult to clean the pee gets stuck on the side with the litter and it’s very hard to get it off. It’s a shame I paid so much money for this 25 for the bottom 25 for the top something around there and the top fits on nicely but it’s very hard if you go to move it it comes off. It’s just not a good litter pan. I wish I can go back to my other one. I would love to return this, but I think I have it too long so I guess I’ve lost out on the money. Oh well, just a warning.

I really like this box & the hood!! The box has handles so its easy for me to manage & the sides are high so its harder for the fur princess to fling the litter

Hard to Attach and Cat Hates It

It's a bit difficult to get it on so that it stays. Even when I do, the cat hates it and will work to knock it off. Right now, it's sitting on the porch because

Our cat cannot use it

Loved the litter genie litter box and was excited to get the hood when it came out as I love the dedicated place to park the scoop. Good quality product as expected

Loved the litter genie litter box and was excited to get the hood when it came out as I love the dedicated place to park the scoop. Good quality product as expected unfortunately the door doesn’t open both ways freely. At first Sammie was hesitant to go in. Once I helped her in, she couldn’t get out on her own, because the door, once pushed in, is now stuck inside! Had to rescue her outta there. Not ready to call it quits, I removed the door without breaking it since the plastic has a little bit of give, and gave Sammie a week to get acclimated to it. She ended up going in inconsistently but peed outside the litter box more than not.
