Good nursing bottle for preemie calf
By sdfarmerswife on Feb 13, 2021
Currently using this bottle to feed a preemie calf. Lost the cow at birth. Calf is able to nurse well on this bottle; a regular size nipple would be way too large.

Not for my kid goats
By Nana on Apr 29, 2020
Nipple was long and my kids were picky. My goat kids wouldn’t take the nipple they like the lamb nipples that are soft. Maybe if I had them when I first got the kids they would have taken them.

SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE ON HAND!!
By AWESOME on Jul 29, 2019
I keep about 6 packages of these and 2 cans of (PetAg PetLac Kitten Milk Replacement Powder, 10.5-oz) and (Manna Pro Nurse All Multi-Species Livestock Milk Replacer with Probiotics Powder) on hand all the time! We live on 5 acres with a huge horse barn and people are always dropping off baby animals. We have had baby kittens, rabbits, squirrels and even a baby raccoon in a cage left in our barn. So I have a cabinet in the barn with bottles a few (Lixit Farm Babies Nursing Bottles) JUST IN CASE! I have found its easier to be prepared than to have to panic and run out to get supplies when you find a little critter who is scared and hungry!!

Great 2 qt. Bottle
By catfor57 on Feb 27, 2019 Top 1000 Contributor
I will get a calf that needs to be bottle fed once in a while. The 2 qt. bottle has grips on it and it is soooo easy to hold compared to the calf bottles sold in the feed stores. I did switch out the nipple which is No big deal for my calves. Love this 2 qt. bottle!

Bought for foal
By Chava on Jun 3, 2018
I bought for my new born Andalusian foal that was rejected by her mom...liked that it was a quart vs 9 oz baby bottle since at day one she was taking almost 2 bottles per feeding. Lamb nipple was not to her liking..human nipple enlarged with one cut ...not X cut works well but you have to keep warming and refilling each feeding. I will try to order calf nipple and try to see if she takes to that. Quality and size of this bottle are good, nipple size and design is what my foal does not like. I cannot fault the maker since they never offered it for full size foals... perhaps it will work fine with mini donkey or mini horse orphans?

Wouldn’t use
By Nick on Mar 24, 2018
For some reason my baby Nigerian goats would not take this bottle they took regular infant bottles ... I don’t know if this bottle and nipple was too big or texture wasn’t like the mother but they refused this bottle ...:(
