can this also be used on dogs?

I have used this on multiple dogs and it worked great. Helps a lot with hot spots and never had an issue. It works better than most dog shampoo on my dogs. I would recommend a patch test before using since it’s formulated for horses

With this medicated shampoo, would you need to use any kind of Mane N Tail conditioner along with it? If not, i'll follow up with a full normal unmedicated shampoo & conditioner bath when I notice the condition is cleared up.

This shampoo does not have a corresponding conditioner as the pH adjusted formula leaves skin and coat clean and conditioned. It can be used to treat existing skin problems and also as a preventative when used regularly.

One of my horses has incredibly sensitive skin and gets allergic reactions to bug bites. She also has issues with hot spots and had extensive scalding when I got her. This shampoo has been amazing for her, especially in treating the hot spots. It also conditions hair and leaves it soft. I have often used it to clean wounds on both my horses and lesson horses and it does a great job. I’ve used it on dogs as well

I used to use this shampoo years ago on my horse for rain rot. My 9 year old GSP recently had a Splenectomy due to a tumor. His immune system is compromised and

I used to use this shampoo years ago on my horse for rain rot. My 9 year old GSP recently had a Splenectomy due to a tumor. His immune system is compromised and his skin/coat started to take on a yeasty smell with flaking. Some hair was falling out. Vet recommended a prescription shampoo. I remembered using this and it was a 3rd of the cost for a considerable more amount of product. Second shampoo and his skin started to clear up. The smell dissipated after the first shampoo. There is no fragrance which doesn’t bother me and it seems to soften the hair as well. I use it full strength and kept it on a few minutes, make sure to rinse well, it does adhere and soak into the hair deeply. I will continue with this treatment until it clears up.
